Fleas rise to the top of your pet's coat as they die, so consider it a triumph if you start seeing more fleas at first, after treating your pet. If you’re still seeing fleas after application, it may be because your pet has picked up new fleas from the environment, which may include other pets, surfaces and outdoor areas. It may take up to 30 days to break the entire flea life cycle. Additionally, you should also treat sources of new fleas (i.e., carpet, yard, etc.) to ensure complete flea control.

Is this good for flea allergy too or do I need to get something else?

This shampoo will not only keep fleas away, it contains cedarwood oil, which is good for skin and coat conditioning and dermatitis of all types. It's also made with pure essential oils with no sulfates or parabens added.

Can this product be used in conjuction with other topical flee an tick control, such a Frontline?

This shampoo can be used in conjunction with flea topicals. This also will not remove topical flea and tick treatments.

Does the glycerine contain swine or soy?

Natural Care Flea & Tick Shampoo is derived from vegetables. It’s a plant based glycerin.

I’ve noticed fleas on my momma dog & is wondering if I use this shampoo on her would her puppies be okay around this strong smell or ? They’re newborns puppies n I don’t want the fleas to spread.

TRUST been dealing with Chewy for a long time

It didn’t kill but one flea , maybe I didn’t leave it on long enough I was busy trying too keep him from jumping out of the sink

Non-toxic tick shampoo

This is my go to flea and tick shampoo for casual use. I also spray my dog with Richard's Flea and Tick spray before walks (I spray my hands then rub into his fur)

This is my go to flea and tick shampoo for casual use. I also spray my dog with Richard's Flea and Tick spray before walks (I spray my hands then rub into his fur). It does a pretty good job for a natural product. If I have a more serious bug problem (mainly ticks) I will reach for the more toxic stuff. This will kill ticks but takes longer.

We use this when we went to the Poconos just to be careful. My dog didn’t get anything and everything worked out great.

Smells amazing

I bathe Charlie every week or so. This is the only shampoo I will use. It’s organic, smells great, kills and repels fleas. I also use the spray repellent.

Smells good, made of quality ingredients. No synthetic fragrances that would bother your pup. Only essential oils. I can tell the difference in a chemical smell

I can tell the difference in a chemical smell and natural smell but most people can’t. More importantly though, your pup can tell the difference and synthetic fragrances bother him/ her. Their nose and their skin. I’d buy again!

Natural way to eliminate ticks

Bella had numerous ticks from walks in the woods as this spring has had so much rain. I left this shampoo on for 3 minutes to ensure there all ticks were removed,

Bella had numerous ticks from walks in the woods as this spring has had so much rain. I left this shampoo on for 3 minutes to ensure there all ticks were removed, even though I did remove them with tweezers. Ticks can cause a host of diseases so this was an additional measure. The shampoo also made her white fur nice and shiny. I will continue to use this all summer.
