They must put crack in this food

Oh it's been a long journey but worth every minute with this little precious 6lb blessing , rescue . As much as I am so opposed to any commercial food but at least Royal Canine hasn't had any complaints to the FDA as far as I could tell unlike Hills and others . The ingredients are not good, at all. But it's complete and balanced and Royal canine says they have a department that does its own research or whatever. So long story short 3 years of feeding human, grade, traceable ingredients , organs and real meat etc . But 2 of three years have been tummy issues and severe heartburn and probiotics from a vet. Which was a waste of time because dogs with horrible tummies and awful heartburn need soil probiotics. Picky eater and trying low fat diets even home cooked ( home cooked is great if you know how to correctly balance it ) ok first day on the soil probiotics ( four leaf rover) immediately gave him relief no puking after he would eat and no heartburn . Now that major problem is thankfully taken care of. Poor boy just was so tired and sick more and more from his tummy. Instant relief. Truly a miracle probiotic. Next is the food issue. He doesn't like left overs , yes he is spoiled . Lol He will eat them for a day . I swear he is part human. Any food he gets tired of after awhile. So i thought cooking for him daily was the best options . But it became so expensive and time consuming and worrying if I got it co.ete and balanced. One day I thought I would try this Royal canine and figured if he didn't like it It would be nothing new but I really was almost out of options. As soon as I opened the can I got his attention. He could smell it immediately and came at me like a 2000 lb charging , furious bull. He licked it and that's all it took . I had to to get it out of the can and quick. I couldn't do it fast enough I guess and he , who never makes a peep, was suddenly making tiny whimpering noises and next a tiny bit loud bark! He was mad ! I got it on a plate fast as I could without losing any fingers ( lol he has no teeth but if he did......) He went crazy over this food. I had to take it away and feed him by hand because he was scarfing it down!. I almost forgot to get his new soil probiotics on this food too but I did it . I don't know what they put in this food but it's doggy crack . This is the only food that he will eat 24/7. As much as I hate the ingredients I don't think twice about it . I do add some coconut( cocomega extremely beneficial) chicken yumwoof to it so he is getting his superfoods . Which has gave him so much energy. Now I have the happiest little guy . He is no longer sick, he loves his poodle loaf everyday and he is getting a huge amount of benefits and it shows with the yumwoof. I love chewy . They always have everything you need and their shipping is fast and free when you have an auto ship. As soon as I order his food, almost Everytime the order is placed they have it packed and shipped or ready to ship within a few hours and sometimes the same hour I order it.

Portion

This is meant for TOY poodles. The cans are soooo tiny and to feed a standard poodle or even a mini poodle you would be broke. I get this and use it as a topper

Hopeful but NO

I thought this food could be the answer for my picky eater and he does eat it eventually but not immediately. It is an expensive food for the disappointing result

Smells good

Shane did eat half of a can at first but refused to eat the other half later that evening. The food sat on the plate for a day and a half turned black on the edges

Shane did eat half of a can at first but refused to eat the other half later that evening. The food sat on the plate for a day and a half turned black on the edges of the scoop outs and dried out. I’m tired of trying to please him at this point so his air dried kibbles are still in the bowl from three weeks ago that was a very expensive try purchase.

I'm curious if anyone else has the same problem regarding changes to Royal Canin

I have a toy poodle, and he used to love the Royal Canin food I fed him. However, for the past month, he has refused to eat it. Has anyone else experienced this

I have a toy poodle, and he used to love the Royal Canin food I fed him. However, for the past month, he has refused to eat it. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Could they have changed the recipe or used different ingredients? I'm trying to find a solution for why he no longer wants to eat the food he once adored.

Very small cans, didn’t seem to be enough food for her

She seemed to really enjoy this product as she ate it all quite rapidly.

Dog thinks it's the best

My toy poodle has become very picky at age 14. This is seemingly hard to resist. She eats all her food. I use rx dry food scoop and 2 spoons of the wet and mash
