This Royal Canin formula is designed exclusively for pure breed Labrador Retriever puppies from 8 weeks to 15 months. If a Labrador Retriever Puppy grows too quickly, his weight can outpace his skeletal development, even leading to deformities. And, Labrador Retrievers (even puppies) are prone to gain extra weight, which can cause problems as they grow. This is why it's important to feed a diet that is tailor-made for their specific needs.

This is only a guide. Optimal feeding amounts may vary according to your pet's temperament, activity level and environment. If you have any questions regarding your pet's health, please contact your veterinarian.
We recommend at least a 7 day transition before you begin feeding the new food exclusively. Start by mixing 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively. This allows your pet’s digestive system to smoothly adapt to the new food.

Where do the ingredients in Royal Canin diets come from?
We select our ingredients based on multiple factors, including the supplier’s compliance with our quality and food safety requirements, consistent availability, and on the nutrients required to meet the dietary needs of the pet.Royal Canin is making strides towards sustainability by attempting to obtain sources of raw materials as close to each manufacturing facility as possible. In some cases, we use international suppliers, because only those suppliers can offer raw materials that comply with our quality and food safety standards.

Lab puppy with poo issues
By Jenna on Jan 17, 2021
We got our puppy at 8-9 weeks, we stayed with the food from the breeder. Her poo was so loose despite time feeding and limiting water at bedtime, she would poop multiple times during the night even after I took her outside 2-3 times before bed and during the night. After switching over to this food her poop is normal and she no longer has accidents during the night. Couldn’t be happier with the switch, well worth the money for her tummy.

Recommend Royal Canine Lab Puppy food
By CoopersMom on Jan 4, 2021
Cooper’s breeder pushed us toward Royal Canin and we are so happy with this recommendation. He loves the kibble, his coat is beautiful and he is growing like a healthy weed :) Chewy makes the delivery within a day or two and I don’t have to lift the 35 lb. bag. It’s a win all the way around. Viva la Chewy!

Best puppy chow
By Sammy on Aug 21, 2020
This is my second litter raised on Royal Canin Puppy for Labrador Retriever. The pups growth and development was wonderful. And Chewy getting the food to me in 1 to 2 days was astonishing. My local pet food store couldn't stock it in a week and the other store was $20 more. Time is important when you are feeding 9 hungry Lab pups.

Best food you can get
By GertiesMom on Sep 8, 2020
Both my labs are on Royal Canin and within a week their coat became so much healthier and shiny That everyone we meet mentions it. If it does this much for their coat I just know it’s good for the rest of their bodies too.

smells good!
By Kata on Jul 27, 2020
When I first opened my bag, the smell of it is really good for me lol I thought it’s human cookie smell! I’ve had two bags for my 18weeks old Lab pup, he’s growing really well and healthy, he’s getting big too, so I think it works really well!
