Came with tear, would like replacement

I opened the box and food fell out of shipment. Doesn’t look like tampering, but might have gotten critters in shipping.

My girl is the finickiest dog I have ever had. She started turning away from almost every diet we’ve tried. She is a senior of 10+ years of age and we knew we needed to get her on something that would give her exactly what she needs. From day one she showed interest and she’s been eating it eagerly and consistently for nearly 2 weeks. She loves the shape of the kibble. She has always struggled with picking up other kibble. This “cheerio” style shape has been a game changer for her. Love, love, love Royal Canin.

Love!

Dog loves it and is the only kibble that has successfully helped us manage his weight! It’s been a struggle since he has arthritis and can’t exercise as much anymore

My corgi has done fine on Royal Canin formulas before (particularly the Small Breed Weight Control which she ate for a few years without issue). When I tried the 7+ Medium Breed Senior she liked it and digested it well but started having paw licking/chewing issues and tear staining. I switched her off for awhile onto foods that were chicken free/corn/wheat/legume free. The food licking went away. I tried again to move her onto the senior 10+ formula this time since she is over 10 years old, and had the same issue... after she got fully moved onto it, while she devours it and digests it great, she started licking her paws again and the tear stains are getting darker. Not sure what doesn't agree with her, maybe it's the wheat? I've seen her lick her paws a little bit after being given biscuits with wheat flour. At any rate, I gave it some time and zyrtec and she wont leave her feet alone, so rather than make her live in a cone for two months while we finish this huge bag, I opted to return it to Chewy assuming they would refund like always and ask me to donate the food. Normally I wouldn't bother but this was a VERY large bag of food, it's not cheap and my other dog cannot eat it due to his food allergies (he does fantastic on the prescription Royal Canin P/W Large Breed). Unfortunately Chewy told me I had to *SHIP THE FOOD BACK* to get a refund. I did not save the box it came in, I do not have a printer to print the return shipping label. There is a LOT of food left over because my dog is small and we just started her on it. But they insisted so now they are going to ship me a box and label just so I can send back an opened 30lb bag of dog food to get my money back. In the past, Chewy has always just refunded me for food that did not work out for my dogs and told me to donate/throw out the rest. I used to manage a retail pet store so I sympathize that returns are annoying but these companies often guarantee their food, and I would not have risked buying such a large bag from an ONLINE RETAILER if I knew returning it was not an easy option -- I would have got it from a brick-and-mortar store instead where returns are much simpler. Been a regular Chewy customer for years and I never return food unless I truly cannot use it with my dogs. I will return the food as instructed to get my refund but it's a large inconvenience.

Great size pieces for older dogs to chew

It looks like doggie cheerios. I am happy to find a food that is so specific for my dogs age and size.
