It’s definitely on the expensive side compared to other high end dry foods but since my dog has heart failure it’s one of the few dry foods I’ve found with no added salt. He devours it and has been doing great since we made the switch.

My Dog Likes It!

My cavalier King Charles has early heart failure and her cardiologist recommended this food. She loved her Fromm for many years, so we were worried she wouldn’t like this. We gradually switched her kibble over starting with 25% new food/75% old food and gradually got to 100% of the new food without issue. We hope this, coupled with her medications (also from Chewy!) gives us a bit more time with our precious pup

Scoop actually likes this food.

Since Scoop has been eating this food I've noticed a difference in his behavior. He feels better. He has more energy. His appearance is happier and he is more playful

Penny will not touch it, she has lost 3 lbs in the week I tried to transition her, will ned to find alternative. Tried mixing it with soft foods, broth and other things she likes, she will just not eat. Smell is off putting to me, I don't know of it's bad or is just to her preference.

Dogs like the flavor

Not sure about the health benefits, but both my Boston Terriers like the flavor and digest it well: good poops and no nausea.

Caused acid reflux

He would wake up at 1am and then at 4am after eating this. After I switched, he was fine. I tried it again, same reaction. The vet said it sounds like this food

He eats, i guess it does what is meant to, there really should be other foods that aren't prescription that meet the same standards. I don't think at this price

He eats, i guess it does what is meant to, there really should be other foods that aren't prescription that meet the same standards. I don't think at this price I can keep my dog on it indefinitely.
