The Ruff Dawg ball XL exceeded my expectations! I've been using them for weeks now with my 3 large dogs and nobody has come close to destroying them. (The dogs are not left unsupervised with the balls). They are a little heavy, so I don't want the dogs to try to catch them, but they are great for fetch. They bounce in odd directions, so they do keep everyone on their toes. They are a bit slippery when trying to pick up, but I can live with that. Great purchase!
First toy i’ve been able to find that my pup can’t destroy. I’ve got a 1 year old - 50lb pitbull…She loves balls, anything you can throw for her to retrieve but she always ends up destroying them. I’ve tried so many different toys but there was nothing this dog couldn’t absolutely shred. We’ve had this ball for about 5 months or so and it’s still going strong!!! It’s got it’s little dings and dents, because why wouldn’t it. But it’s solid! Love this ball and brand…definitely don’t disappoint!
My dog Moe is a destroyer, every toy he has been given is in pieces within weeks or hours. This solid rubber ball is still undamaged after 3 weeks of hard play. Moe doesn't put the ball down when he is awake, he carries it with him everywhere he goes. Its heavy and large so they have to have the strength to carry it around.
These solid, all natural rubber balls may seem too expensive at first, but trust me, the cheaper balls are the ones that are too expensive when you factor in all of the replacements you buy because they don't last. These balls ARE truly indestructible! As a professional dog walker, I can attest to their ability to resist even the most focused chewers. Sure, they may get a tooth or two into them, but that's as far as it will go - no swallowed chunks to worry about, or fuzz working it's way through their digestive system, just a little hole that closes up tight when they are done. They have a nice heft, but won't knock anyone's lights out with a wild throw, and wow, what a super bounce! They can take running them through the dishwasher or the washing machine when they need a good cleaning, and are ALWAYS the favorite ball at the park. The only reason you will have to replace one of these balls is because someone walked off with it in their mouth without anyone noticing. I always have 2 or three of them with me so that everyone can have fun with the best ball there instead of constantly trying to get it back from someone who stole it fair and square with a faster fetch!
Ruff Dawg is the most indestructible brand I’ve ever seen. The donut, barbell and balls last forever, unless you lose them like I did. That’s the only way you’ll need to replace these toys. Absolutely fantastic! Kong balls only last about 3 days before they were in pieces. You can buy these balls for your kids too! It’s the super bouncy ball we wished we had lol
My pitbull can destroy any regular ball in 10 minutes. I tried a lacrosse ball, that lasted 30 minutes. I saw this here and said hmm, let's see how long it will really last. So far it's been 2 weeks and the ball is still perfect. I'm glad I decided to try it out.
I can't even explain how much I love this ball. We've had so many different ones and this is really something special. It is SO bouncy and the weight is so satisfying to throw...I can get it like double the distance of any other ball and once it hits the ground it keeps bouncing for so long. My dog even bounces it around for himself chasing it. Super worth the money.
My 96 pound dog has destroyed too many toys to count. But not this one. She has chased it, batted it around up and down stairs, and chewed on it, and it is as good as new. I would give it 10 stars if I could.
I bought this ball for my son's dog who tends to destroy all of his other toys. He LOVES this ball! He has been carrying it around with him and even napped with it right next to him today. Thank you for a great product!!
My dog is destructive and balls don’t last long. He usually rips them apart immediately. We’ve only had this for a day but so far so good!! He hasn’t put a single hole in it. I will update the review if anything changes. The only drawback is that the ball is super heavy. It’s also way too slick to play fetch with once saliva gets on it.
