Good & Bad

It's Zaya's favorite ball. She will ignore all other balls and demand this one. She's a gentle giant so I can't vouch for it's indestructibility but she does enjoy carrying it in her mouth and doing those micro chews some pups will do Zaya is a 75 lb German Shepard and we went with the M. Even still it's pretty big and heavy. The Bad: if the ball bounces too high or if she catches it wrong she will bite her tongue. There's a dirt patch in our yard so if the ball bounces off that it's a guarantee her tongue will be bleeding. If it's raining and she's getting sloppy? Yep, she'll bite her tongue. Have her stay > roll the ball on grass > tell her go and she's so excited when she catches the ball she'll drop it and occasionally bloody tongue I'm not sure if it's from how big or how heavy the ball is or what but it sucks how easily this can happen. Majority of the time the bleeding stops within 20 seconds but we've had to cancel a few training/play sessions because we didn't trust the cut would stop bleeding. We're officially at 8 days without injury & still looking for a replacement she'll actually use while we hide this

I purchased the 4” medium ball for my dog that is medium size mixed breed. He looks to be mostly English coon hound and I’m pretty sure the person at the shelter we rescued him from said the same. He loves playing fetch and I mainly buy him the large chuckit balls, but they don’t last very long. The Barrett ball is solid and seems durable, but it’s also heavy. I wouldn’t recommend it for playing fetch. I would definitely recommend buying it for a dog that likes to chew or destroys other balls. I wish i would have bought the smallest Barrett ball because since my dog can’t chew it very well because of the size and construction it isn’t his favorite. I’m satisfied with my purchase and would still recommend it for someone looking for a tough ball for their dogs. Also glad I purchased it because it’s made in America and benefits our military so you can never go wrong purchasing something that benefits our soldiers and veterans!!!!

Our 11 year old poodle loves balls. Since he was months old he loves to squeeze them, role them and pounce on them, to chasing them relentlessly when I throw them for him, and inside the house every day around 3p.m when we go into the music/fitness room where he rolls it underneath the fitness equipment then running around getting it chewing on it and then roll it again for up to 2 hours a day. For years we bought him durafoam balls and d they would last maybe a month at a time. The last year the product seems to have changed its manufacturing process, after a few days the balls would begin to deconstruct from the center out and deform. I had been trying to find something he would enjoy and last for a little while and surprisingly these are great, he loves it and has lasted a couple of weeks already. Hopefully, these will continue the same manufacturing process.
Immediately Disappointed!

The ball is advertised as having NO SEAMS, which is not true. Seans are the biggest problem for me in finding something suitable for my dog because it’s the thing she will go to and pick at it until the object is destroyed. The ball is heavy. I can’t attest to the durability since I just opened the package, but the false advertising irks me!
Huge and heavy

I bought the smallest one for my Yorkie and this ball probably weighs half as much as him and there is no way he’s carrying it around in his mouth. The picture and size is misleading. I’m sure it’s a great ball if you have a giant breed dog but it’s definitely NOT for the smaller breeds (my boy is around 8lbs).
Falsely advertised product. I don't recommend this to aggressive chewers.
After seeing the diameter of this ball, I thought it would be near industructable.

Best. Ball. Ever.
Jake adores all things round and bouncy, but these are paws-down his favorites. Jake is a 90# mastiff/pit mix. A FABULOUS toy for your big pups!

Got the large ball as recommended by the company based on our dog’s weight. It is too firm and heavy for her to grip or carry it in her mouth. She is OBSESSED with balls but has zero interest in this one. It’s too bad because she chews up most and this one does seem indestructible. A smaller size would probably work well but this one cost over $30 so I’m not sure it’s worth another try.
