This is not the harness that I received nor the one I ordered.

The harnesses that I received, which were two one small, one large, all ridiculous. I finally gave up and just didn’t even use it regardless of how adjust the straps

The harnesses that I received, which were two one small, one large, all ridiculous. I finally gave up and just didn’t even use it regardless of how adjust the straps. It does not fit well and the piece on top it bubbles up bubbles up on their back, it doesn’t even lay flat!

Ugh this harness is mediocre at best. The material and construction is cheap, metal ring on back for leash clasp is squeaky, front ring is uh plastic rope, and worst of all it’s not light reflective as the title suggests (and the literal reason why I purchased this in the first place). Bummer

Well made harness

Bought this for new Miniature American Shepherd puppy and it fits perfectly. The color is very nice and bright and it should fit her as she grows. We like the lightness

Bought this for new Miniature American Shepherd puppy and it fits perfectly. The color is very nice and bright and it should fit her as she grows. We like the lightness of the harness for our smaller dogs and we’ve had one for our other dog for over five years and it’s still together with no rips or fraying.

Very weak leash hook

This harness is great for it's high visibility, but it is advertised as strong and able to handle large dogs. My dog pulled for the first time and the metal hook

This harness is great for it's high visibility, but it is advertised as strong and able to handle large dogs. My dog pulled for the first time and the metal hook just snapped in half. I was really lucky he ran toward our backyard and not the road. Great hi vis vest if you have a gentle dog, not a good product of you, like me, are leash training an 80 pound puppy

Coco loves wearing a harness at all times. It seems to give her security, so I was looking for something light weight. She has worn this most of the summer. It doesn't cause her to be hot, dries quickly if it gets wet. It is washable. It doesnt cause any irritation anywhere on her. She seems comfortable sleeping in it as well. I remove it once in a while to give her a break. Without it she runs to the lawn, rolls around for a bit scratching her back then comes right back letting me know she wants it back on. She is content with it. And that is what's most important.

The Ruffwear brand used to be high quality. This was our 4th harness we bought because the were well padded and adjustable to get a snug and comfortable fit. This is no longer the case. The harness has almost no padding and no longer adjusts to fit well. Not a purchase I recommend to anyone.

The One True Harness

We have tried no fewer than 15 harnesses for my 10lb maltese/poodle mix (more of the poodle body, an XXS worked perfectly), because getting a good fit that doesn't

We have tried no fewer than 15 harnesses for my 10lb maltese/poodle mix (more of the poodle body, an XXS worked perfectly), because getting a good fit that doesn't cut off his airway when he pulls has been challenging - we've even tried other Y-front harnesses with no luck. This is the only one he can breathe freely in, and he even does better on the leash when wearing this one as opposed to others. It's super lightweight with no bulk, which he appreciates, especially in the summer. 10/10 recommend for the little pullers.

I have used the Ruffwear Front range harness for years for both everyday and for tracking with my Labrador Retrievers. I now have a smaller dog and he is now in the Hi & Light. So perfect! Light and sturdy. The back clip is easy to access and it is comfortable. These are also very washable and my front range harnesses have come out of the wash bright and clean.
