What are the ingredients and % amounts? How much Taurine do cats need in their food?

The key ingredient in the Amino B+K is potassium gluconate. There are 468 milligrams per 2 millilitre. This formula is designed for the patient with hypokalemia and should only be given under the supervision of and only if recommended by a veterinarian. It is not meant to be used as a taurine supplement. There is not a sufficient level of taurine in the Amino B+K for it to serve as a taurine supplement.

This is a great product for cats to enjoy along with their wet or dry foods. My cat loves it. The amber bottle is excellent for the preservation of the content

This is a great product for cats to enjoy along with their wet or dry foods. My cat loves it. The amber bottle is excellent for the preservation of the content. Great value for a 4fl.oz bottle. Thank you CHEWY! Actually I've begun low and slow with my cat. The stopper is a nice size and clearly indicates the milligrams to administer onto their food. Thank you.

That SMELL :(

My 21-year-old cat said absolutely NOT to this - the smell is beyond horrid. If you have a picky eater, no amount of trying to hide it in their food will help.

My cat was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. My vet specified this brand because he trusts it. He wanted her on a potassium supplement, even though she was still in range (but the lowest end.) It stinks like bacon and gets all over me, but she likes the taste. I give just 1 ml a day (less than the label says) and syringe it sideways into her mouth in two tries. It causes her to swallow hard several times, and I give her a minute or two in between. If it drops onto her paw, she eagerly laps it up, and she always gives herself a bath after it. It seems to make a difference in her energy level.

J is not fond of eye droppers stuck in her mouth, but if she really hates it, it wouldn't go in. It goes in. Must taste ok to the cat!
