My dogs are a bit afraid of being brushed. This brush is great because it has a very gentle bristle side. This,, combined with the wire bristle side allows you to approach grooming with two options - great for pups who are a bit nervous. Also, we have one dog with longer fur (Border Collie) and one with a much shorter coat (terrier mix), so this brush works for both dogs!!

This is the only brush my older golden retriever will let me use on her ( I have tried many) her fur gets tangled now that shes older and her skin is more sensitive

This is the best dog brush I ever bought! My terrier always ran from me whenever I came toward her with our old metal brush. This brush does not poke on the metal

This is the best dog brush I ever bought! My terrier always ran from me whenever I came toward her with our old metal brush. This brush does not poke on the metal side since it has small balls on the tips. it is also great at detangling and brushing out her loose hair. The other side of the brush is very nice too. My dog actually lays there now and lets me brush her.

The brush on the large toothed side helped remove her under coat with no discomfort. The bristle side helped smooth and fluff her legs and tail. My dog has hair and fur like all Sheppard Retrievers mixes do. It leaves her so soft and shiny. We love it!
