Great for thick coats.

Great for thick coats- use on my Havenese & Shih Tzu. I use it several times a week and gets a lot of hair off of them. Great for thick spots too.

Solid, but Messy

Rakes well, but the bristles don't hold hair, so with each stroke, the hair falls to the floor. We had to go to store to get another rake that actually fulfills expectations to both grab and hold hair vs have to sweep/vacuum after the most minimal grooming.

Ok for small long haired pets

This was an accidental purchase. I have 3 very large long haired dogs and got this by mistake. Too small for them. I did try it on my cats which are long haired but it did nothing for them either.

easy and efficient

really gets that undercoat and excess hair out on my 13yr old Pug who sheds all over the place--easy to use especially on dogs that don't like to be brushed

Safari double row rake

I bought this to use my my German Shepherd who sheds all the time. It doesn't matter how much I brush the hair doesn't stop. This double row rake so far is getting a lot of that undercoat hair. I like it

Excellent Rake

This is the first double row rake for me and I find it does a great job. The rake is of excellent construction and should last forever. I am currently using it on my Aussie puppy b/c she is a double coated dog, matts are possible w/o a good rake. This fills the bill.
