Does this product work in preventing worms if the dog doesn't have them yet?

This De-Wormer is not intended for use as a preventative treatment.
Does this also prevent heart worm or do they need medicine from a vet?

Will it work if I put it I to water or get it wet?

This Dewormer can be mixed in with water to ease delivery however we would still recommend you feed them before or shortly after the treatment.
Can it cause runny feces

The only adverse affect known at this time is vomiting. In the U.S. clinical studies 3 of 240 dogs (about 1% of the treated dogs) had vomiting associated with the use of the product.
