Like meow-gic, Fresh Step’s Extreme Odor Control Scented Cat Litter can keep your busy litter box smelling fur-esh and clean for up to seven days. Ammonia Shield and odor-fighting antimicrobial agents work together to help trap and eliminate smells for long-term help. But don’t be surprised if you smell something fur-esh after kitty leaves the loo! The paw-activated Meadow Fresh fragrance provides a pleasant scent. It’s easy to keep it tidy in between cleanings thanks to the ClumpLock technology that forms tight clumps for quick scooping. And you can breathe easy when it’s time to change the litter—the dust-free formula keeps particles to a minimum.

As a reminder, especially to pregnant women and immunosuppressed persons, cat feces can sometimes transmit a disease called toxoplasmosis. Therefore, always remember to wash hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter. For further information, consult your doctor. Unused cat litter poses no toxoplasmosis threat. Do not use this product as a traction aid because product becomes slippery and slick when wet.

If you've recently switched to Scoop Away® litter, your cat may need a little time to adjust. You can make the transition easier by sprinkling a thin layer of Scoop Away® clumping cat litter on top of the litter you normally use. Once your cat has acclimated, empty your litter box completely and refill it with Scoop Away® litter.

This is actually a pretty amazing litter for the price! I usually use fresh step with gain or febreze but that tends to get expensive when you have 10 cats, lol! I gave this little a try and was definitely surprised at how well it works. It clumps wonderfully, has low dust and overall works great. I would definitely recommend this litter to anyone.
Scoop Away has always been a quality litter and the multi-cat version is excellence squared. I've had friends mention they've never smelled the slight ammonia smell that some homes have. In addition, I've never had to dump out the entire box with Scoop Away. Ever. I simply add litter when necessary and my cats love it. The only suggestion I have for Chewy is to package only one 25lb litter in the shipped box. I realize is not as environmentally friendly. But those of us with horrible backs would genuinely appreciate it.
I’ve had mostly good experience with this litter. The scent is not bothersome and doesn’t scream “cat box!” when smelled. It covers odors really well with my single cat. The only issue I’ve had is the dust when scooping or pouring. The box says it is dust free, but it definitely isn’t. Visible clouds of dust show when poured. I’ve just gotten in the habit of covering my nose and mouth with my shirt when I add litter or scoop.
I’ve been using this litter for a long time, and really liked it. However, it can no longer be considered low or dust free. Every time I pour the litter into the boxes, I get a cloud of dust that makes me choke and cough. Makes me wonder what it’s doing to my cats. Time to find a new brand.
I would have to say I am 50/50 on this litter. It definitely isn't dust free when I pour it in the litter box there is a cloud of smoke. I have a cat that likes to play in water then use the bathroom or play in it. She has litter mud all up and down her back It's great at clumping and most days have to use some force to scrap it loose from the bottom.I brought 100lbs exactly a month ago and I'm on the last box half left. It's a decent price. Smells good. Going to try something else . I think for one cat it's fine not six.
This scent is so strong even I am bothered by it so imagine how annoying this scent is for my cats. Also, I got this on the 20th of feb and within two weeks the first box was finished. I only have two kitten by the way
I have tried out a majority of common cat litter brands (Dr. Elseys, Arm and Hammer, Purina Tidy Cats, etc.) and this wins, by a lot. The clumps don't fall apart very easily, it doesn't stick like glue to the bottom of the litter tray, and it does a decent job of concealing odors. And it's affordable too.
The "scent" is so powerful that you can taste it, the type of smell that sticks with you for a few hours. If you have no sense of smell this would be ok, although it seems to be dustier than other brands.
It is definitely not dust-free. It is like pouring a powder crumb everywhere. But the main problem is my cat’s paws and his hair and his head always smells that perfume, which means he always licks that dust and perfume.
This litter is great! Clumps good, no smells, not dusty! I have two cats sharing one box that is scooped daily. I add more as needed to keep it 3-4 inches deep for them to bury their deposits.
