We live in very sunny very wet Florida. My OTTB is a good sweater and was experiencing some sun bleaching on his neck and shoulders. He was also having issues with rain rot on his hips hocks and cannons. I bought the 10lb bucket did the ramp period of two scoops for 20days and after 40 days of using this product I have noticed a significant improvement in coat quality, health and skin health. I highly recommend this product.

Good, with a drawback

I have a black roan gelding who gets very washed out in the summer sun. His steel gray coat turns an unappealing light gray. I used another more expensive product

I have a black roan gelding who gets very washed out in the summer sun. His steel gray coat turns an unappealing light gray. I used another more expensive product and decided to try Nu Image Dark Horse this summer. After feeding one level scoop for three weeks, he looked fantastic with a beautiful steel gray coat. Unfortunately by week five at that daily dose, he started to turn brown in spots. I cut him back to a half scoop a day, but so far the brown remains. I will try a quarter scoop. If that doesn’t work, I will no longer believe in or recommend this product.
