How do you wash the cover, only the bottom foam is removable?

Machine wash the cover separately, in cold water, gently cycle with mild detergent. Do not remove polyester filling from the bolster of the cover. A large capacity washer without an agitator is recommended for best results. Lay flat or line dry. Do not use bleach, iron, or dry clean. The foam can be removed from the cushion through the zippered outer cover. Do not put foam in the washer or dryer. Spot clean with mild soap, rinse, and squeeze water out gently. Let it air dry away from direct sunlight and heat.

This bed is made of 100% polyester and is not water-resistant. Please do not remove the polyester filling from the bolster. To clean, machine wash the cover separately in cold water on a gentle cycle using a mild detergent. For best results, it is recommended to use a large-capacity washer without an agitator. After washing, lay the cover flat or line dry. Do not use bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Comfort for elderly dog and middle age ones

I wanted something for my older guy (16 yrs old) because he can no longer jump on the couch. He loved the bed the minute it arrived! He feels secure in the bed

I wanted something for my older guy (16 yrs old) because he can no longer jump on the couch. He loved the bed the minute it arrived! He feels secure in the bed with the comfy sides, and the sides provide him a place to keep his head elevated for sleeping. He has more than enough room to curl up and not feel cramped. My other two dogs have the same Serta dog bed----and they love it. While both can fit in one bed, they prefer to use it individually. Why not??? They like their comfort too. I have been more than pleased with this purchase for my dogs' comfort and security while resting or sleeping.

Holy cow! After turning up her nose at several other beds, our 5-year-old 50lb rescue hound curled up in this one the second it hit the floor, and basically hasn't left for 3 days! (I jest, of course). She is obviously in love with this bed: we are so pleased and relieved! We are interested whether the bolsters will hold up over time, though.

It has really high bolster sides
