The airline I’m flying has the maximum measurements 22x16x9 for the carrier. Can the medium be compressed 1.5 inches to fit under the seat?

The Small carrier is approximately 8.5 inches tall, the Medium carrier is approximately 10.5 inches tall and the Large carrier is approximately 11.5 inches tall. This carrier features features a spring-wire frame that allows the carrier to be compressed.

How is this carrier airline-approved if it is not leak proof? Isn't that a requirement?

Great cat carrier for going on flights

This carrier is roomy enough for a medium cat to move around, while still fitting under the seat on airplanes. The bottom is sturdy and doesn't sag even when carrying

This carrier is roomy enough for a medium cat to move around, while still fitting under the seat on airplanes. The bottom is sturdy and doesn't sag even when carrying my 15lb cat, the straps are thick with strong metal hooks, secure zippers cats can't open from inside, and the top of the carrier can bend to fit under smaller airplane seats. The carrier is easy to clean, when my cat peed in it I was able to remove the base and base cover, then clean the entire carrier with soap and water.

Love these carriers!

I already had this same Sherpa carrier for my other cat, so it was a no-brainer to order another for my other cat. This carrier is of the highest quality and folds

I already had this same Sherpa carrier for my other cat, so it was a no-brainer to order another for my other cat. This carrier is of the highest quality and folds fairly flat for storage. I really appreciate how easy it is to clean and the long shoulder strap, which I can drape across my body for hands free transport.

Not built to last

This worked for 3 roundtrips but then a zipper broke and it was done for. Probably wouldn’t have happened with metal zippers. Also the Velcro they use is worthless

Meets all of my travel needs

I bought this to bring my cats to the vet. It can easily fit either 2 kittens in the months age range or one adult cat very comfortably. The inside bottom fabric

I bought this to bring my cats to the vet. It can easily fit either 2 kittens in the months age range or one adult cat very comfortably. The inside bottom fabric is removable and washable. There are 3 straps: 1 for over the shoulder and 2 for carrying by hand. There are also 2 different zippers to open the bag, depending on how you need to put your pet in.

We left the carrier on the floor and she kept going in there to take naps. I guess we don’t have to worry about tricking her inside for our trip!
