I wanted a ceram8c d9g bow that my dog won't have to chase around while eating. This bowl definitely does NOT meet that need. Although listed as non-skid, this bowl has nothing on it for grip or traction. Its just a regular ceramic dog bowl. It's a pretty color with good weight and thickness, but it does nothing to keep it from sliding around.

It looked larger online.

We couldn’t use it. It’s way too small. It’s for a tiny dog or a cat, not our 75 lbs Catahoula!

Failure to disclose lead materials

Happy To Find

Originally I had a plastic bowl to I put in the crate for my pup, but because she loves to play with anything in her crate- even her pee pad that's adhered to the floor- she kept picking up her bowl and spilling water everywhere. So I decided to get a ceramic bowl and so far, because of the thicker rim and heavy base, she's been unable to tip the water bowl at all. However my slight complaint (hence the 4 star rating) is that the bowl is a bit too shallow for my liking amd my pup is a thirsty drinker after playtime. But on the other hand, it's a good way to make sure she has a fresh supply of water and not "day-old" stale water
