Hi. Can this be used in an automatic litter box?

Most automatic/electronic litter boxes use clumping clay cat litters. As this is a non-clumping litter, we would not recommend it for use in automated litter boxes. Please refer to your litter box's manual or owner's guide for more details.

I have two cats, with one litter box. Approximately how often will I do a full litter change?

The amount of time between changes will depend on the pet's level of usage and the number of pets. When the litter becomes an off white color, this indicates that the litter must be changed. However, because this litter is non-clumping, it needs less changing overall than similar clumping clay litters.

How long does the litter last before it needs changed?

When you notice the Skoon pebbles begin to change to an off-white color, it is time to dispose and replace. The amount of time will vary based on the number of pets and their usage.

Litter is 2 large

This didn’t work for my kitty’s the litter is 2 big and it is very messy and they wanted to eat it! Sorry about that! We have to try something that is less messy

Best ever

This is the most effective litter I’ve ever used. No odor until it’s exhausted. The cost is ridiculous though and there’s a problem with the supply apparently

Price and effectiveness

I have been using skoon for a long time. But just recently discovered a different litter that lasts a lot longer and is much cheaper. Honestly, I can’t imagine that

I have been using skoon for a long time. But just recently discovered a different litter that lasts a lot longer and is much cheaper. Honestly, I can’t imagine that diatomaceous earth costs that much. I really like the size of the diatoms and you can’t find that anywhere else is really unfair. And I like the scent of the lavender. But the new litter I found also has a lavender scent to it. It comes like a 30 pound bag it’s made of corn And it’s also flushable. I will never go back to using.Skoon. I just can’t afford it. It also eventually starts smelling like ammonia. And the corn litter that I use never does because the urine never down to the bottom of the litter box. It just clumps into a little plug that you can scoop out and put in the toilet.

Less tracking

I’ve been getting this litter for many years for my 2 furbabies for a number of years. I like that it doesn’t track as much as other cat litter

Do not recommend

Horrible litter, smells worse than the cats pee and poop after only one use, no oder control have used many litters but nothing as bad as this brand

Great odor control

I do love the fact that there’s no bad odor, no tracking, which is lovely, however it doesn’t sift through the scoop and I end up throwing away lots of pellets when

Large chunks

I accidentally ordered the larger chino but like it. I can scoop out the poop and even scrap the urine and add fresh litter.

Almost killed my cat

I have two cats, Puffy and Tiny. Both 17 years of age but one female and the other male. Puffy adjusted to it just fine. Both used it the first day. Tiny stopped

I have two cats, Puffy and Tiny. Both 17 years of age but one female and the other male. Puffy adjusted to it just fine. Both used it the first day. Tiny stopped eating and later in the night was coughing blood with mucus in it. The litter was the only new thing introduced in there environment and it happened within 24 hours. I threw the 2 bags away. I say monitoring is highly necessary with anything new, in general. Puffy appeared fine with it but it was killing my other cat, Tiny. After I threw out the litter, washed the litter container, and mopped the floor (Skoon is very dusty) Tiny returned back to normal almost immediately.
