Didn’t work at all, just made his hair greasy

I bought this so I could keep my Shih Tzu’s ears from matting by daily brushing. It’s also supposed to help brush out mats if he gets them. I used it as directed,

I bought this so I could keep my Shih Tzu’s ears from matting by daily brushing. It’s also supposed to help brush out mats if he gets them. I used it as directed, and it made his hair greasy but didn’t help at all in brushing it, either just regular daily brushing or when trying to remove a very small mat in one of his ears. It was a waste of money, and I don’t recommend it.

My dog's hair is slightly tangled at times around his ears. In between grooming sessions, this seemed like a great spray to help keep those tangles away. Not only did it help detangle his hair, it also smelled wonderful. The solution sprayed on easily and was thick and creamy which allowed it to stay on the ear without dripping off. I also sprayed it all over his coat due to the probiotics. It was definitely a pleasant smell and he didn't fight me at all when I sprayed it and brushed it through!

I appreciate the fact that Skouts Honor is an environmentally and socially conscious company that creates products that have no sulfates or parabens or dyes. I do not like how highly scented the product is and I know that if it's strong to me it is very strong to my dog. I also felt like I had to use quite a bit of the product in order to get it through my dog's fur. He is a mixed breed, possibly Golden Retriever/Collie and has a very kinky tail and fur around us haunches. He hates to be brushed and I didn't really feel like this product help the process.

A great product in my opinion. Used it on both my cat and dog. My short hair black cat gets dry skin during cold months. I used this stray 3 times so far and can tell her furr is less dry and she has less dandruff already. Will keep using it to see if with time the product helps to balance her skin so there is no more issue with dandruff. With my dog spray helped to detangle her fir easily and made her furr extra shiny. We love it has pretty clean ingredients! Smells very nice without being overwhelming

Helps with matting!

I have a Pomeranian who HATES being brushed, but with long curly fur it's a necessity or else his fur gets matted. This puppy detangler was exactly what I needed

I have a Pomeranian who HATES being brushed, but with long curly fur it's a necessity or else his fur gets matted. This puppy detangler was exactly what I needed (and didn't even know it). I applied it after a bath and it made brushing so much easier! My pommy did have some matting and while it helped get most of the matting out, I did have to cut the really bad ones out. I'm hoping this detangler will help prevent future mattes and based on my experience with it I think it will! It also smells AMAZING! Highly recommend!

I applied this, slowly worked out some matting, it took a few tries, but i was happy with the product. It's difficult to move through his hair, so i have to apply more than i like. I don't want him having that much product on him. So, good for small areas, but i won't use it if he's tangled in lots of areas.
