My hens didn't like it

I was trying to buy something that wasn't pelleted so I could ferment it for my girls. A majority of this feed was green pellets that my girls wouldn't eat wet

I was trying to buy something that wasn't pelleted so I could ferment it for my girls. A majority of this feed was green pellets that my girls wouldn't eat wet or dry. However, I do buy the mini pellets of this brand, which are not green, and my girls are fine with that. I guess I was just expecting something different.

Quality ingredients

Unfortunately my chickens don’t like this. I would have given five stars for ingredients alone but they don’t want to touch it. So sadly I won’t order it again.

Great ingredients, chickens won’t eat green pellets

Although the feed has excellent ingredients, my chickens won’t eat the green pellets. It’s a bummer because I am happy with the quality.

Layer food

If you have a small backyard flock, this feed is really nice because it's nutritious and natural. Very high quality and my chickens really liked it. The downside

If you have a small backyard flock, this feed is really nice because it's nutritious and natural. Very high quality and my chickens really liked it. The downside is you would not be able to feed it to a large flock due to the expense But great for a small group of chickens.

My quails love it!

They eat every little bit. I mix it with dried BSFL to raise the protein a bit. Eggs are amazing after this. I wish it came in crumbles too. Some pellets are hard

NOT A FAN

My chickens do not like the fed and I didn't like that the fed came in cardboard box with any type of liner.

Not pelleted, not powdery

This is the soy-free and powder free feed, I’m looking for. A half cup a day for 1-3 eggs. The 3 chickens seem quieter and more content now

They only eat the good stuff and do not touch the pallets.

Will not be getting this again because the chickens only like the wheats and the seeds. pallets and the powdery stuff get wasted. Also I don't like that it contains

My Rooster approved it!

He is picky, he would always leave a bunch of other seeds! We tried this one and it looks like he eats 90% of it and I’ll take it! Thank you!
