My 18 year old cats spent the first 17 years of their lives eating raw Smallbatch chicken. Then bird flu happened and we transitioned to canned cat food. When we tried to go back to raw Smallbatch they often vomited. The vet said it might be hard for older cats to digest raw. Back to canned food. Now they are being picky about the canned so we decided to try the freeze-dried and they heartily chowed it down. Unfortunately at $25 for 10 oz we cannot afford it to be their only food. For now it is a once in awhile treat. But if it is affordable for the budget go for it! The cats love it.

We transitioned to freeze dried raw food over last month, using a different brand to start, this is first two days with this brand and flavor. First day three meals

We transitioned to freeze dried raw food over last month, using a different brand to start, this is first two days with this brand and flavor. First day three meals and he “vaporized” everything in minutes. But what can you say, once a chicken eater maybe always a chicken eater. A softer pellet and size seems right for this guy.

Kitties love it!

The freeze dried pellets easily soften in warm water and the kitties love it. It is very humid for most of the year where I live, so I appreciate that it comes in

It is very humid for most of the year where I live, so I appreciate that it comes in small batches so I don't have to be overly concerned about moisture getting into the bag. This has been an issue with some of the larger bags of food I have purchased.
