SmartBones are made using wholesome vegetables including sweet potatoes, peas and carrots, and have an inner layer of chicken inside.
It took more than 2 years of research and development to obtain our unique formulation, ensuring it was highly digestible and highly palatable. We proceeded according to the strict protocols established by AAFCO (Association of American Feed Control Officials), and conducted detailed studies where we measured digestibility.
Our SmartBones are produced in a food grade facility, which has the capability to enhance formulas with vitamins & minerals. We decided to enrich our SmartBones recipe with vitamins and minerals in order to produce a more balanced and nutritious chew.
Chewing is an essential, healthy and enjoyable activity for dogs. Dog chews help keep teeth clean, jaws strong and are mentally stimulating to help prevent boredom and destructive behavior. SmartBones help satisfy a dog’s natural chewing instinct.
We follow a strict, multi - tier safety process to ensure the highest quality standards. All of our raw materials are thoroughly inspected and analyzed in a sterile environment prior to processing. Once the tested raw materials enter the manufacturing process, we adhere to strict FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) hygiene regulations and manufacturing processes. Before our dog chews leave the manufacturing plant, they are once again tested by our quality control team.
This depends on the size of your dog. In general, 1 - 2 SmartBones per day are appropriate. Please make sure your dog gets the SmartBones chew that is appropriate for its size.
SmartBones are safe for puppies older than 8 weeks old. Please remember to supervise your pet during chewing activity and make sure he or she has access to plenty of clean water.
After opening, reseal in the bag it comes in, or store in an airtight container.

smell great but deadly on their stomached!
Purchased several different sizes of these bones for our three dogs. They looked like they liked them but became sick from them. All three dogs had diarrhea and vomiting from these treats. Don’t recommend giving to your loved ones.
Dogs in love
Our dogs love these, they don't seem to get bored with the peanut flavor and it keeps them busy for a short time anyway. Lol. I can't give them any chicken because one of our dogs has a touchy stomach the same goes with the beef flavor some times.

GOOD BUT HARD
I’ve been getting these for a while now but the new batches I’ve got were so hard to chew for my dog. It was like they had been sitting on shelf for years and became stale. If it continues then I’ll stop buying the product.
Loves them!
Bought as an entertainment treat for our 150lb boy, while we have to be away for the day and can't take him with us. They only keep him busy for 20-30min until every bit of evidence it existed is gone, but he loves them. Wish they came in a bigger size. But they will have to do, he's allergic to so many things it's hard to find new items for him. Glad I found this one!

Although very enjoyable to both, a little longer lasting would be nice for large dogs.
Does not last
I have three French Bulldogs and these bones did not last beyond a few minutes. To me it was not worth the purchase.

to easy to inhale
Jake weighs 77 lbs and is a heavy chewer. He consumed this in five minutes. He LOVED it, but that’s to fast for me to be willing to buy them again.
My Dog Went Through This Quick
I love the ingredients and the easiness for them to ingest, but my dog seems to go through it within 10-15 minutes.
