I put my ottb on this and while he wasn't unsound, he did have some very minor changes in his knees. He has been going so well since being on this product. I was very picky about the things I wanted from a joint supplement. I spent weeks trying to decide the best way to go for quality, quantity, and price. I could not find one that was better and cheaper/equal in price.

I gave this one star because the horses won't eat it. It smells good to me but it won't work if they won't eat it. I manged to get one of my horses to eat it for a few weeks but I noticed his movement actually got worse after being on it. Probably because I took him off of his other joint supplement to be on this one. Maybe this one was helping in ways I couldn't see internally but externally there was no improvement. I love other Uckele products but this one won't be purchased again.

I started my mare on the loading dose three weeks ago and think she is feeling more comfortable! Her chiropractor saw her a few days ago and thought the same thing. Definite improvement since she saw her before starting the supplement. I researched all of the well known joint supplements like crazy before deciding to try this one, as it seemed to have the most bang for its buck. I was a little disappointed to see the price has gone up by $13 though, just from when I ordered not even a month ago! Hopefully the standard 1/2 scoop dose is enough for my girl and we can make it last the 60 days.

Seems like a good product, horse eats it without any problem (of course she eats almost anything), but it does have a strong smell. However, will be looking for

Seems like a good product, horse eats it without any problem (of course she eats almost anything), but it does have a strong smell. However, will be looking for something else, because like everything else, it was already on the expensive side and now I see it's gone up more. On the plus side, Chewy has the best price on it if you can afford to feed it all the time. It's worth a try and is right on the money with appropriate joint supplement amounts especially for an arthritic horse.
