I thought this would be a great toy for the clowder.... boy was I wrong! They all love feathers, plush toys, jingles and crinkles... The reaction to this one was terrible! It started "chirping" and every cat RAN! They acted like it was a demon possessed bird and took off faster than I've ever seen. They didn't just jump as from a loud noise, a little scare, they ran and hid under the furniture, in their houses, and got as far away from this "chirping" menace that they could find. I may as well have put a cucumber on the floor. Not a single cat will come near it now, they avoid it like it's the big slobbery dog that comes to visit. I guess a "chirping" motion activated bird is not as fun as I thought it would be.

I suspect our experience was anomalous, but the toy never chirped when tossed, moved, etc. I didn’t see an opening to check/replace battery. The feathers were a hit, predictably, but both cats lost interest quickly.

My cat loves this toy. She's ripped out several of his feathers. We've had it 19 days, and it's already having issues chirping. Sometimes it will give a partial chirp. Other times it does nothing at all. If I give it a couple of good taps, it usually comes back, but she's really not that rough on it.

The size of bird

I cut off the feathers because my cat loves to play soccer with the bird. He also likes the chirp which unfortunately doesn’t last long. I continue to buy this toy

I cut off the feathers because my cat loves to play soccer with the bird. He also likes the chirp which unfortunately doesn’t last long. I continue to buy this toy because there’s not much that will keep him occupied. If you like to play soccer with your cat, try this.

Doesn't chirp

Disappointing. This toy chirped one time and never again. Expensive toy for what it is - just a stuffed bird with tail feathers.

My cats favorite toy

He’s loves playing but gets bored of most toys pretty quick but this is his all time favorite toy. He plays with it constantly and always goes back to it

A silent parrot.

This is supposed to be an interactive toy that chirps. I removed the activation tab, but it does not chirp.

The cute bird design with the feather tail and the chirping.

My dog stole it from the cat and uses it as a cuddle toy, she likes the chirping evidently.
