what part of the bed doesn't have zipper is not washable? will x-large will be big enough for 2 girls 73&68 lbs?

The cover is removable by zipper for easy cleaning and can be thrown in the washing machine. The inner dimensions of the X-Large bed is 24 x 34 inches. The size of your dogs will determine if both can fit on one bed.

Why doesn't the center piece have a zipper?? If there's anything I need to wash the most it's the part they're laying on...I already bought the bed in December. How am I supposed to wash the insert?

The middle cushion does not have a removable cover. However, the cushion can be washed as a whole.

My 11 year old golden retriever loves his new bed, I had gotten him this for his birthday. Though he doesn’t show any signs of arthritis as he is of that age that he will eventually start to develop it; but I’m really glad I got him this bed to prepare for it just incase. Other than that my baby deserves it of course. He is 79 pounds and he slightly sinks into it which is the kind of comfort I was hoping for, to support his joints. Best bed ever! My only concern tho is that it was really hard to put together lol it took a two set of hands to stuff this baby together, I would suggest having someone help you put this bed together as there will be be a lot stuffing to do, me and my significant other had a workout the day that this came in especially when it comes in a very large packaging. Other than that we had laughs and we still love it for our baby!

The good: Stylish, high quality materials, sturdy (mostly), good color selection. Removable, washable outer cover. My dog really loved this bed. The bad: The outer cover is hard to put back on after washing. The buttons come off too easily (choking hazard, hello?!) making the bed lopsided. Cutting a hole in it to redistribute the filling didn't help. And my biggest complaint - WHY doesn't the mattress have a removable cover??? It doesn't vacuum easily either. Spot cleaning was tedious (and the smell became unbearable) so I put it in the washer. It worked, but i don't recommend it as dries slowly and probably weakens it. I didn't care at that point bc the buttons already came off. I gave up and trashed it. The manufacturer said I could order a new mattress, but there was no way to do it on the website. Considering the design flaws and price, they should have replaced it for free. It's a nice-looking bed but I wouldn't buy this again for $200.

When it arrived my dogs(2) waited for me to put it together, and promptly climbed in for a nap. It looks very expensive! My Husband was sure I spent a ton of money on it? No! I feel so clever! Very happy with my choice!
