Save your floors and furniture with Soft Claws Cat Nail Caps. A safe and pain-free alternative to declawing, Soft Claws works by simply capping your cat’s claws with a vinyl cover. It applies easily with a safe and non-toxic adhesive, and will not interfere with the normal extension and retraction of their nails—which means even the fussiest kitty won’t mind wearing them. So your cat can go about his routine of pawing and playing, and you don’t have to worry about unwanted scratches. Easy to apply and long lasting, it’s made right here in the USA.

How to Apply Soft Paws®
For Kittens: Do not trim kittens' claws before applying Soft Paws. You will need sufficient claw surface for the glue to adhere properly.
Trim the tip of your cat's nails. Trim just enough to allow the nail cap to fit all the way to the base of the nail. Watch a video tutorial here.
Extend nails by gently pressing thumb on top with index finger on bottom of paw -- slide nail caps onto nail.
Observe cat for five minutes before release. You can play with your cat or feed some of kitty's favorite food to distract for a few minutes.

Amazing idea, but to actually put on a grown cat that has never had anything on their claws, not gonna happen. Best to start as a kitten so they are used to the torment. LOL
One of the packages (I ordered 3) had glue hardened solid. The other two had decent glue. I took my cats to my Vet as they have experience putting these on. The next day my cats had pulled a few of the caps off and after 4 days about half are off. Complete waste of time, money, stress on the cats and my aggravation!
They do keep my cats from clawing furniture and my rugs. They have lots of scratch post but they still hit furniture.
We tried these to protect new furniture and avoid declawing. The large was for our 16 pound calico and we used the medium for our 8 pound tabby. The calico still has them on which it has been about 3 weeks. The tabby pulled them all off the first night. I think it is important to get the right size. Also make sure their fur is not in the claw pocket. It took both my daughter and I to do this. Me holding and her putting them on. I would definitely buy again. They do come in several colors. The kit includes 40 claw covers, glue and applicator tip.
I recently put these on our cat for the first time. I have been trimming her nails, so she was fine with me messing with her feet. I followed the included directions and had only one came off soon after application. She has not tried to get them off and seems oblivious to them being on her claws. I will be happy with the product they stay on for a month before having to reapply.
1 of my cats had these chewed off within an hour of me putting them on him. It also took about an hour to do just his front paws. The glue tip didn't stay on the glue bottle, it was VERY hard to see when/how much the glue made it into the nail cap, and one time one of my fingers stuck to the cap while on one of his nails. My other cat also did not like the procedure and had his caps off within 2 days of me taking a very long time putting them on him while he fussed up a storm. CATS DO RESIST THIS PROCEDURE! DO NOT WASTE YR TIME WITH NAIL CAPS!!! The cats WILL also chew them off right away!
I’ve used these several times in the past and they’re always great until now. The applicator tips I got in my most recent order don’t even fit the glue container. Not sure what changed but very unhappy and a waste of money because now they’re useless.
These work amazing for our 10 month old kitty. You just need a little glue and they stick right on. They last a couple weeks on our girl. They have definitely saved our couch. They don’t seem to bother her at all. She is a very chill and patient cat and lets me put them on with ease. Probably helps starting them out when they’re young.
I am a renter and I use these to make sure my cats don’t destroy the walls however this was the first time that I ever bought these ones. With that being said the nail glue is everywhere, it didn’t smell good, it was hard to put on the cats the bottle and the tip that it comes with didn’t stay on itself and now there’s glue everywhere on top of all over my hands. it was a horrible experience for me and my three cats, who are normally relatively okay with this process.
Makes it easier for your cat in your home. Don't have to worry about furniture.
