These tape sheets should not be used on leather, pleather, velvet or microfiber furniture.

Can the cat furniture protector sheets be used on microfiber furniture?

It is recommended trying a small piece in an inconspicuous place for 1 week before applying more broadly. In this case, micro fibers are made from different synthetic materials and therefore not recommended for use. However, a test would be warranted to be 100% sure.

We got a new couch, which was not a giant scratching post contrary to what the cats thought. Bought quite frankly a ton of these to deter the cats and they do the job. The cats learned very quickly that they did not like the sticky, even to try to fetch hair ties or to stand on(we had to cover the couch arms too). Our one cat likes to lick them, we aren't sure why and it doesn't seem to have any negative impacts(she's special always). Unsticking one side, sticking it on the furniture and then peeling the other side off worked best for us. Adding a nearby wall scratcher has eliminated the need to keep these on. They are INCREDIBLY sticky and peeled paint off a small section of our wall, which is cheaper to fix than the new couch.

I recently purchased a sectional couch and was worried about my cat using it as a scratching post. I applied this to the sectional in the typical areas that cats tend to claw and she has not once attempted to touch the couch. It's worked so well, it's hardly noticeable and I couldn't be happier. Easy to apply and I highly recommend it.

Sticky on both sides? Not a fan

I hated that this was sticky on both sides, I just wanted this to be a plastic protector that I didn’t have to worry about replacing so frequently. I have black

I hated that this was sticky on both sides, I just wanted this to be a plastic protector that I didn’t have to worry about replacing so frequently. I have black cats so their hair sticks to it immediately and I have light colored furniture. Not a good combo and will not be purchasing again. Very silly design.

My cat was using the carpet as a scratching pad. I put the tape down to discourage this. The first time his paws touched it he looked at me with a most surprised

My cat was using the carpet as a scratching pad. I put the tape down to discourage this. The first time his paws touched it he looked at me with a most surprised expression on his face. Needless to say he quickly retracted his claws and vacated the area. It only took a few times of his paws touching the tape to correct his behavior.

These work!

My cat hates them so they are keeping him from wrecking the back of the chairs. But they are very sticky so be careful to follow directions or it ends up sticking
