have two domestic cats. Fish is a short hair, gray tabby about 15 years old and bear is a long hair black cat, who is about the same or maybe a little older than fish. They both still have strong appetites, but have begun to lose weight as they’ve gotten older. I have been trying different wet foods to entice them. This food was a big hit with fish! The consistency was very different than I am accustomed to for cat wet food, but he really seemed to enjoy it and did not cause any tummy trouble. Bear however sniffed and would not try. He has become pickier as he’s got older, but typically he will try a new food and then decide that he’s done with it after a can or two. Not sure what he wasn’t liking about this food, but I tried to give it to him twice - at night and the following morning - and both times he said no. This is the main reason for the four stars as I felt like both cats need to eat it to be five.

This food is a big hit at my house. I have four cats and it is difficult to find a food for the rotation that everyone likes. I have to say, I probably would not have chosen this one but they sure would have. I like the texture as there is a lot of water for them. The smell is off, I expected a fishy or meaty smell, but it is almost a chemical scent. The cats don't seem to mind, but worth noting. I like that it is not the typical 24 can, but case of 12. When they eventually get bored with it, you are not stuck with a bunch of food to donate.

I ordered the “Soulistic Moist & Tender Lamb Dinner in Gravy” cat food for my son George (4-legged son). He can be a picky eater at times but he loves lamb so I wanted to give this a shot. First off, the “Soulistic Moist & Tender Lamb Dinner in Gravy” is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the AAFCO Cat Food Nutrient Profiles for Adult Maintenance. It is also grain, gluten and carrageenan FREE! I always LOVE seeing this on any of the cat food I purchase for George or for my 4 pit bulls. This is extremely important to me as I’m always afraid that a product may be “contaminated” and hurt my animals. These 5 animals are literally my life and kinda all I have so I’m always very paranoid. I want only the best for them. This cat food is a “stew style” and I really like the ingredients in it. I recently also tried a variety pack from Soulistic and it was a winner between George and my son’s 4 cats. This contained 12 cans of food. Knowing how much Georgie loves lamb, I really wasn’t worried if he’d like it. A lot of times, he “gobbles” his food really quickly and then will get sick. He did “gobble” this very quickly as well but did not have any stomach upset. I attribute this to being grain, gluten and carrageenan free. I will most definitely be purchasing this food for George. There wasn’t a single thing that worried me and not only did he LOVE the food, he did not get sick due to the healthy ingredients. On one other note, even though Georgie is tiny, he’s a senior. I always adjust his food accordingly. For example, this 5.5 ounce of canned food will last 2 days. I always give him 1/2 a can in the morning and his dry food at night. I will always feed him dry food daily to help maintain his teeth. If my veterinarian tells me that his teeth are getting problematic due to his age of if he just “stops” eating his dry food, I will switch to wet food exclusively. My previous senior cat, Caleb Jean, lived until 18 years of age and one day he just stopped eating his dry food. This was a clue to me to start only feeding him wet food, which he ate. To boot, Caleb was 47 pounds so you could imagine how much canned food he would eat in a sitting?!? I definitely recommend this cat food if your cat loves lamb, but also due to the excellent ingredients. Also, this food is manufactured in Natick MA.

I tried the Soulistic Moist & Tender Chicken Dinner for my two cats. One loved it and licked the bowl clean, especially the gravy. The other took one sniff and walked away like I offended his entire bloodline. 😼 The texture is very gravy-heavy and smells fresh, which is great if your cat loves saucy foods. Just be aware: picky eaters might pass. Overall, a win for one cat, a flop for the other—but worth trying if your furry friend is a gravy fan!

Two out of my three kitties absolutely love this food. It's a nice texture for cats that enjoy a soupy/gravy type of meal. There are a couple of ingredients such as sunflower oil and guar gum that I am personally not a huge fan of for my cats, because they can cause issues when consumed longterm. At 122 calories in a 5.5 oz can, this food is not very calorically dense, although it is high in moisture (which can be great for cats that don't drink enough water). Overall this is a quality food that will be added in to my cats' wet food rotation.

I have 2 very picky cats that don't eat can cat food, so didn't set a plate for them like i do my youngest one, but they came out after I set her plate down, so spooned them out some and they ate it! Now all 3 of my cats come out in the morning waiting for a bit of can cat food. So this is purrrfectly approved by my cats!

My cat Nurse Jackie is a Maine Coon who loves lamb. This Soulistic lamb looks delish, like ground meat with lots of gravy. She gobbled the first can happily. The second can she only ate half and by the third can she sniffed and walked away. She is picky. I would recommend this food if your cat is a lamb lover. I gave the leftover cans to my neighbor whose cat loves lamb and she ate it all.

Great product but my cat was uninterested

I really liked the ingredients in this product (and more so, what isn't an ingredient) and preferred it for the fact that the brand highlights that it's a high moisture

I really liked the ingredients in this product (and more so, what isn't an ingredient) and preferred it for the fact that the brand highlights that it's a high moisture level wet food for my cat who is always thirsty (she has some early stage kidney issues.) The product itself seems well made, but my cat was absolutely uninterested in this food, which is really unlike her and too bad because I thought it would be a big hit!
