Great solution for allergy
I have 2 cats who were itching and losing their fur. Vet mentioned it might be a good allergy. I had been using the same varieties for more than five years, and tried others without success. I did research on Google and discovered the likely problem was chicken. I had a hard time finding foods without even chicken byproducts until I found this Proplan variety. It worked! My cats love it! Their fur came back and my Long hair Lady is regrowing her large flowing tail.
All five of our cats love it!
Initially bought this for our 9-year-old female (her name is Liebe) who has chronic vomiting and sensitive tummy issues. We got the duck flavored canned wet food as well. She loves both the wet and dry! Because we have five cats they all like a little different food so we have several dishes set out but Liebe has learned to go to this one every time as it must taste better and doesn't make her throw up. I will say that it seems to produce more hairballs than any of their other food choices - but that almost seems like a good thing, as if this food is designed to expel the nasty stuff from their tummies. Everybody likes it so much that I might be able to stop buying all the varieties of dry food and just stick to this moving forward. Really happy to have found something that works well with Liebe's tummy and must also taste pretty good.
Good but received a 6 month expired bag this for 16lb bag
My cats normally like this and I think it works ok - I moved them to this from the super expensive, useless I/D sensitive tummy food. This time, I received a 6 month expired bag this for the 16lb bag I ordered. Maybe it's best to stick with smaller bags (sadly for my wallet) since those would get moved quicker in the warehouses.
Hate Supporting Nestle but My Cat Likes It
As stated above, Nestle is an AWFUL company but my Sphynx was having severe skin issues and I had to try different foods to clear this issue up. I bought this formula based on the name and her skin did clear up. I'm unsure if this was due to the food change or all the other changes we made with her shampoo products but now this is the only thing she'll eat and I'd really like to find a non-nestle version of a similar food.
Best Food Ever
My cats went from sneezing and boogers plus diarrhea and gas to perfect with this food. It was a dramatic change. I wish I had gotten it sooner. My vet recommended it and it is wonderful
Coats look great
Both cats are willing to eat this food, feels like a major plus right now. I've got 8-10 bags of started kibble, that one or the other won't eat & it's usually the one that needs this type of food. I've gone the route of trying to keep them separate at feeding, but the one with digestive issues manages to sneak the stuff he shouldn't have. Very frustrating, neither one gets excited about this food, but they do eat it. Their coats do look much nicer & eyes seem brighter. I've thought I had hits before & then bag 2 went untouched.
so far so good
The vet at chewy.com suggested we transfer Ben to food for cats with sensitive stomachs and to change his protein source. It took Ben less than a week to adjust and now he seems to like it a lot and is gaining back some lost weight, no more diarrhea and he's getting his energy back.
ProPlan Sensitive Skin & Stomach Review
We switched to this accidentally from another high quality, holistic food and low and behold found that our two senior kitties tolerate this much better (no throwing up like they sometimes did with the other brand) and they like it better.
My three seniors love it!
I recently switched to Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach dry cat food for my three senior cats. This brand is a winner. Their bowl is emptied every day.
I have tried many dry foods for my cats and they loved this from the 1st day. Two of my cats cannot eat chicken so I was thrilled to find something with very, very little chicken. I have happy cats.
