This food is made in the USA. The vast majority of ingredients used in Purina products made in the U.S. are sourced here in the U.S. Like other food companies, they do source a limited amount of ingredients from other countries. These ingredients are primarily essential nutrients, such as taurine and B vitamins that are not commonly available in the U.S. in the quantities needed and are sourced in China.

great for tummy problems and my kitty loves it!

My kitty has had tummy problems all his life, and was previously on the Hill's Science Diet prescription formula. He's also incredibly picky, so when Hill's changed their recipe he refused to eat it. We decided to give Purina Pro Plan a try and the difference was insane. Not only does he love the taste, it also controls his bowel issues way better than the Hill's prescription formula. It also managed to bring the smell of his poops down significantly, which is just icing on the cake!

Cats like it

I am looking for a dry kibble that will help reduce the amount of vomiting my cat does. I have just recently introduced this food in small amounts with the regular food, so I haven't noticed a major difference yet. My cat definitely likes the food though, so when I switch over to this alone, I know she will eat it.

Works!

Our "super senior" vomitted too often, we thought. So we decided to switch to this formula. After about a year, her vomiting has reduced significantly. She has sensitive skin too but I don't think it helps with that.

So far

We got the sensitive skin and stomach Purina because one of our cats is overgrooming, and we are thinking that she may be allergic to the foods we were feeding her. While we will not know the results for some time, I can say at this point that both of our indoor cats love this food.

Improved health and coat

I have two sister cats with sensitive stomachs, and some foods cause them to have diarrhea and horrendous gas. Putting them on this food along with the Purina pro-plan wet food solved the problem! They like the food just fine and now they are lean & sleek and their coats feel so soft.

Enjoying

stop cat throwing up

My vet recommended this to try to stop my healthy cats from throwing up so often. I mixed it 2/3 of pro plan and 1/3 of their other dry food. They have almost completely stopped throwing up. And they liked the new food from the beginning.

Almost perfect

My cats absolutely love this food. The pieces are good sized and easy to eat and all of my cats want to eat this. My cat with fish allergy does great on it as well. This recipe would be perfect if it didn’t have chicken for my chicken allergic cat. It, along with fish, are such common allergens amongst cats, it’s a shame purina and so many others haven’t caught on yet.
