Does this also kill bees?

The active ingredient in this product is boric acid and this ingredient is poisonous not only to bees, but to most pests.

Can these be placed less than 80 feet from our family gathering area (deck)? We have approximately 35 feet on each side of our deck to hang the product. Thank you!

The manufacturer's directions say to hang the tubes at least 80 feet away from areas where people gather, since mosquitoes will gather near them.

Will it be effective if I use it so late in the season? The reviews seem to indicate that the product works best when placed out in late spring/ early summer.

This product still works outside of the beginning of the season however, it's recommended to used it from the beginning of the season when mosquitoes are the most prevalent.

Seems to work

I put these out at beginning of year and mosquitoes weren't bad, towards end of year I quit refilling and I believe these did help.

Our definite go to for mosquito control in our back yard. We hang both, at opposite corners, and the results are quick. Before hanging them, we couldn't stand to be outside any longer than we needed to be. A day after hanging them, we can enjoy time with our dog, fill bird feeders, etc., without being bitten. Highly recommend. Be sure to follow instructions for best results.
