It came rolled up, and was thinner than I imagined, but it has worked out great for the stray cat outside. I use it under his bowl set and it's easy to wipe or hose

Perfect size for feeding

Our senior 75-lb labradoodle recently had an incident where he stepped in his water dish while going for his food, upending the water dish and dousing himself all

Our senior 75-lb labradoodle recently had an incident where he stepped in his water dish while going for his food, upending the water dish and dousing himself all over, and it spooked him out of eating from his food bowl. We were having to hand feed or spoon feed him as he would not accept any kind of bowl or plate. Chewy shipped the mat quickly, and after a few times of just offering treats on the mat, he readily eats his food off it now, and it turns out it's easier for him to eat from than the bowl - we always had to rotate the bowl since he could only access one side. We chose a color of mat that was high contrast with the boot tray mat that we set his food and water on, and high contrast with his food, so it's easier for him to navigate with his limited vision.
