Looks natural.

SPECTRASTONE gravel looks great in my aquarium. The stones are all different colors and look very natural in the tank.

Just OK

These rocks are about 70/30. 70% being nice looking river rock, smooth and sweet. The rest is junk. Meaning jagged and unattractive. Looking much like crushed rock

These rocks are about 70/30. 70% being nice looking river rock, smooth and sweet. The rest is junk. Meaning jagged and unattractive. Looking much like crushed rock you see in driveway gravel. I did pick through a lot of it but it’s impossible to remove all the ugly. But the price was cheap. So if you want to spend less, there ya go!

Warning: These are NOT PH neutral!

I ordered these rocks because I love the look of them and because the item description says the rocks are "PH Neutral of 7.0" - however that is not what they tested

I ordered these rocks because I love the look of them and because the item description says the rocks are "PH Neutral of 7.0" - however that is not what they tested as. I completed several PH tests on the rocks using various types of water (bottled, distilled, purified, tap). Each time the rocks came back giving a 7.6 or higher PH. I completed the tests by first testing the PH of the water (my tap reading at 6.8), then added the rocks to the water, waited 24 hours and tested the water (which consistently read at 7.6 or above - blue color). I then did this test using several different types of waters and also conducted two tests using a High-Range PH test kit as well (which read the rocks at 7.8-8.0). I understand that some fish like cichlids love higher PH - these rocks would be great for them. However, I am looking to start a new Betta tank and need my rocks to be neutral as Bettas like a PH of 7.0. (I also tested using bottled water because the water in my are is Hard Water which will affect the PH of the water even though when I tested my tap water it reads 6.8 and the rocks consistently tested 7.6 or above - blue). So please, if you purchase these rocks please complete your PH test and make sure the rocks are not giving too high of PH for what your fish feel comfortable with.

Used in a bog

Used this in a bog to lift my Pings up above the water level. Looks like a river. Love it
