My dog loves this toy! I tell him to "get your Patrick". I missed in the description where it said it was a ball IN a stuffed toy. I thought it came as two separate toys. I was a tiny disappointed because that means he has to destroy one to get the other. However, the toy has lasted a couple weeks and he still hasn't reached the ball. Now I think of it as, once he has destroyed this toy (stuffed part) he will receive another toy (the ball).

This toy is super cute and my dogs were very excited to play with it! I love that it's nice and plush on the outside with a fun squeaky ball on the inside, just what my boxer likes! He doesn't destroy toys often, so this will last a long time. However, after playing fetch with it for just 5 minutes, the squeaker is barely squeaking and sounds broken, though there is no damage to the toy. He'll still play with it and it's cute, but if the squeaker goes out he won't be interested anymore. A bit disappointing that that happened so fast.

Patrick is now my elderly dog Karen's favorite toy, above her long-time favorites, even. It is a bit bigger than I imagined, big enough that she can't even get her mouth around it, but she doesn't mind at all. I expect the size to help it have a little longer of a life, since she's having quite the time trying to get at the ball in his belly. Karen has carried him around for a solid week now, and there isn't even a popped stitch on him. It wouldn't surprise me if she never gets the ball out. Added bonus as far as Karen is concerned is that he still squeaks. She gives Patrick a 10 out of 10 - best toy ever.

The ball inside is a bit tough to squish - probably what makes it so enticing. Easily in the top 5 toy ranks, as of now. Cedar enjoys this so much, it had to come on vacation with us!

My dog Lena loves squeaky toys and plushy toys--this both. But this toy is much more durable and well made than a lot of stuffies that Lena shreds and pulls the squeaker out of in a few minutes. She has shredded the exterior a bit, but still hasn't yanked out the squeaker--I can literally hear her squeaking it as I write this, a week after getting the toy. I think that's a new record for her. She really loves it. Who can explain why our pups love one toy more than another? All I know is this one is a hit with Lena, and I'm glad.

This is a great product for dogs that are not heavy chewers like mine. My dogs, a lab and a German Shorthair Pointer puppy, enjoyed playing fetch with this toy. There is a ball inside the stuffy, so it was bouncy when thrown. They liked that it squeaked. When they started chewing on it, it didn’t take long for them to put a hole in it. I removed the spikey bouncey ball, and they were still able to play with that. So the fun continues!

This is a great “mid range” toy. What I mean by that - my dog easily got through the fabric and started pulling fluff out, but it’s a been a few days and it’s still not entirely destroyed. She’s very interested by the ball inside and I’m sure she’ll love that as its own toy once she gets there, but so far she hasn’t managed to work it all the way out. I think this is good for dogs that like soft toys and chewers alike!
