We are not fans of this toy. Nothing squeaks, nothing crinkles. What's the point? The ball is cute - but it's hard, more like a rock than a tennis ball. It's the same size as a standard tennis ball, though - which is too big for my dogs (both 25-pound doodle-mutts). My dogs like puzzles, though, so I thought it was worth a try. Getting the ball out of the little hole was not only a challenge - it was a disaster. I had a hard time doing it, and I've got fingers! One dog ignored the toy completely. The other tried to get the ball out for about five minutes and ended up shredding the base entirely. With no squeaks and no crinkles and no way to get the ball out of the hole - and the ball being too big for my dogs...? I took pictures of the result. Then I threw away the whole mess.

This thing is absolutely ridiculous in the most delightful way. The ball is slightly bigger than a tennis ball, but definitely smaller than a softball with good weight. It pops out of the soft stuffie square. My dog LOVES popping the ball out and sticking her nose in the hole to sniff deep! Because the square is a soft plushie stuffed material, it will not hold up to chewers and is easy for dogs to rip apart.

The only problem Is they did not engage in play unless I was interacting with them by throwing it. I appreciate the fact that it was soft and light enough for them to carry easily.

This is a really cute toy. The ball is a great size for a medium sized doggie mouth, and the plush holder gave our girl several minutes of intense stimulation while she worked to get it free. My only issue, if you can call it that, was that the ball sounded like it should have a squeaker in it, but there was no actual squeak. Not a huge deal given the amount of squeaky toys she already has, but just an observation. Overall, fun toy for Luna.
