Feeding Instructions

Good health begins with proper feeding. Sportmix can help maintain your dog’s health when combined with exercise, veterinary care, and controlling intake of other food and treats. Use this chart as a guide, adjusting as necessary to maintain optimal weight. Portions will vary according to age, breed, temperament and environment. When introducing Sportmix, mix increasing amounts of Sportmix with decreasing amounts of the current food over a 7 to 10-day period. Offer clean, fresh water at all times. See your veterinarian regularly. Feeding amounts are based on a standard 8 oz dry measuring cup.

Transition Instructions

Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time.

Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days.
Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days.
Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days.
Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

Its easy to make a bunch of money as an American businessman if you don't bother with sorting out the defecteve UNCONSITUTED POWDER from the solid pieces of dog food. I'm pretty sure its the solid pieces of dog food that the company is being paid to manufacture (and not the raw powder). Thats the great American "quality" everyone is always so ridiculously proud of!!! Thank you penny pinching American businessman!!!!

My dogs are loyal to Sportmix

I tries changing my dogs to other brand due to age and health issues yet they didn't eat it, they just took the minimum necessary, until after a couple of months
