This kibble is close to 1/2 inch in diameter. It is sized to be appropriate for all breed sizes.

Affordable food w/ some great nutritional features

I received this food as a sample, and I have already ordered another bag of it. It is a bit more expensive than the food I was already feeding my dogs but they seem

I received this food as a sample, and I have already ordered another bag of it. It is a bit more expensive than the food I was already feeding my dogs but they seem to really like it and it had a few nutritional features that prompted me to want to keep buying it. Firstly, it contains enough glucosamine and chondroitin for it to be measurable on the ingredient and nutrition lists, which is great because I supplement that in my dogs' diet for joint support (they are big pups). Secondly, it has a higher percentage of omega 3 & 6 fatty acids than my previous two food brands, which also supports joint health and HDL cholesterol. It is slightly calorically less dense than my previous food so I did make the decision to slightly increase their intake volume to make up for it. We phased in the new food and they seemed to take right to it without any stomach upset or weight change.

My dogs were easily able to adjust the change to this food and they seemed to love the taste of it. I was very pleased with the size of the kibble which was not too small and there was the added benefit that I noticed my dogs seemed to have no digestive upset or loose stool. One of my dogs tends to be gassy often but it was a non issue for him now with his new diet of Sportsman's Pride . Very happy with this product and I highly recommended if you want healthy and energetic dogs who are ready to live their best life! AND Less poo scooping for pet owners ! 10/10 rating

Trixie is kind of a picky eater. So we've tried a lot of different dog foods. Some are okay, but we've never seen her devour her food like this! As soon as we got this, we gave her a bowl of food. She ate it all, then kind of bounced around like she wanted more. So we gave her another bowl and that was gone in seconds! Trixie didn't have any digestive issues at all from this. She's a fairly energetic dog anyway, but I think this did give her more energy. The kibble is on the small size, so good for different sizes of dogs. Also it does not stink like some dog foods. We recommend!

My two German Shepherds loved the food. They eat it daily for their evening meal and can't wait to dive in. They seem to have liked the change, as this food appears to have spiked their tastebuds a bit. Their energy level remains high so not causing any sluggishness. From what I can tell, this food is a keeper. Friends and family have been told how much we enjoy ordering from Chewy and the benefits that come along as well. :)

I tried this food for my dogs. Based on the description, it is decent quality. However, when I tried to introduce the food to my dogs using the kibbles as treats first, one was not interested, and the other ate his at first and then ignored the rest. Both are usually very food motivated, but can be picky. The kibbles seemed pretty typical, not overly greasy like some brands, and not overly large. I think it would be a good option for some dogs, just not mine.
