I’ve been feeding my geriatric Chihuahua mix this brand food for about 6 years now. This food is the only reason I didn’t euthanize Foxy years ago, due to extreme food intolerances that manifested into extreme gi inflammation. This is one of the few foods that will not cross contaminate their one formula with another’s ingredients, making it easy to ensure my old girl won’t have to deal with the painful gut and loose, bloody poops Chicken, Salmon, Soy, Whey or Corn, will give her.

He loves it! We discovered that my lab’s gassy gifts were related to chicken by-products. Also, it’s small bites so it doesn’t bloat his belly when eaten dry

He loves it! We discovered that my lab’s gassy gifts were related to chicken by-products. Also, it’s small bites so it doesn’t bloat his belly when eaten dry. He is post bi-lateral shoulder repair since 1 yr and has had a need for joint supplement. I found that this has as much as any of the prescription diets he’d been on. The brand’s dried kibble is a nice treat to add on a casino.

We mixed a cup of this in each bowl and stirred (I mean, it is so pricey for that small bag lol and you have to wean the dog into a different brand anyway). We saw

We mixed a cup of this in each bowl and stirred (I mean, it is so pricey for that small bag lol and you have to wean the dog into a different brand anyway). We saw a huge difference by the end of week one. And that was with 1 cup mixed in, not fully eating it alone. We also give him glucosamine and Vitamin E with his multivitamins. Adding this food made a world of difference in how he can get up off the floor and up and down steps. He is 12 going on 13 year old lab-springer mix with hip issues. This has helped so much

Might not be suitable for large, senior dogs

This was the only hip and joint food I can find that’s chicken-free, but I don’t think the food alone is enough for an 8 year old Irish wolfhound mix. I took her

This was the only hip and joint food I can find that’s chicken-free, but I don’t think the food alone is enough for an 8 year old Irish wolfhound mix. I took her off her regular h/j supplements about a month after starting this food, and 2 months later she has had a lot of difficulty getting up and playing. I love the idea of feeding a hip and joint food but will be switching back to her regular diet and supplements.

My 15 pound pug mix was paralyzed in 2018 and after her emergency back surgery I researched different dog food that would make a significant impact on her spine and joints. This food is incredible. She loves the taste and she walks and runs so much better. I don’t write many reviews but this I just had to. Definitely worth a try for your fur baby!
