great for play and training
My boxer puppy really loves playing with the flirt pole. I had noticed she was losing her mind when I was playing with the cat and her teaser wand so I decided to order. We play with the flirt pole outside and now every time I take her out, she is looking for the pole! We have been using it to help her run off some energy but we are also working on her impulse control and certain command compliance like “leave it”, “stay”, etc. Overall the pole seems sturdy and I’m happy with the product.
Awesome toy!
This thing is awesome! I thought it would be huge when I unpacked it but it's great for my big 2.5 yo lab and her 3 month old sister. They had to play separately though, Athena the older one can be intense. Really great to get them exercised inside the house during these crazy heat waves. Thanks Chewy!
Our GSD Loves It!
Our German Shepherd is fixated on chasing our cat, squirrels, bugs, everything. So we bought this to try and get his chasing/hunting urges out of his system and tire him out. He absolutely loves chasing it around and gets a lot of satisfaction out of catching it. It's also reduced his desire to chase our cat and made it easier to train him on the differences between the fly on this toy and the cat.

Good product but...
Apparently GSDs love these, mine does not. Shes scared of it, weve tried and tried but for whatever doggie reason she hates it. The product itself is very well made and well priced, just not for this pup.
our dog's favorite toy
A friend gave us one of these a couple years ago, because their dogs have no interest in it, and it has been our dog's absolute favorite toy for more than a year. Every single day, when we finish work, he stares at it until we play with him - even if we try changing things up with a different toy. He's a 30-lb rescue mix who loves playing chase. It's good for reinforcing wait/go, for gentle tug, and for running/chasing/getting out tons of energy. The squeakers in the old version had stopped squeaking, although the toy itself is still in pretty good shape, so I bought a new pole. I didn't pay attention to the photo so I was disappointed to find that the new version doesn't include squeakers. The fabric is different too, though that doesn't seem to matter. We really miss the squeakers, but I imagine they might have been swallowing hazards for some dogs.
Great idea
This is a great idea, but my 1 1/2 year old mix breed can jump really high so I don't get much of a chance to swing it. He grabs the end right away and then I can't get it away from him to swing it. He likes chewing on it but it just didn't work very well for me.

Excitement on a pole!
I got the junior flirt pole for my young Cairn terrier mix who bores easily and has boundless energy. He loves playing with the pole and will go to where it is hung (well out of reach!) and "ask" to play with it. We have to just make him stop - he would not on his own. Not only is it good exercise for him, I also took Squishy Face Studio advice and am using it for self control training.
Wow, let me tell you...
When I moved to San Antonio Texas and was able to freely adopt any dog that captured my heart. All I knew was that It was going to be big. I ended up adopting a German shepherd-Rottweiler mix, I knew he was going to be energetic but boy did I have my hands full. I came across this toy 3 months ago and I thought the price was a bit much, but let me tell you this toy is perfect for high energy dogs especially with a sky high play drive That never ends. I just received this toy today and my dog immediately fell in love with it. I'm working on his re-call so this toy is perfect for in-between training sessions with the cord being long enough to ensure he won't crash into me. The pole is pretty long too, so I sling the rope over my shoulder, slip it through the wrist strap, and string it up, with the pole on my back It took not even 20 mins and Duke (my dog) was begging to go home, I'm so glad this rope and toy is so sturdy and lightweight
