Green, almost zero dust, and super affordable

    By on

I have been using Standlee's hay to feed my bunny for almost a year now. I love its product. One box lasts forever since I have one bunny. Still, the hay has remained green and fresh. Most importantly, its price is so great for the quality. I normally order timothy hay for my bunny. This one my first Standlee's orchard grass box. I love it. My bun loves it! The grass is green. There are some brown strands, but not a lot. Its strand is long. It has some dusts, but not as bad as Oxbow's hay and Kaytee's hay. Overall, I really love Standlee hay whether it is timothy hay or orchard grass. Both of them have a great quality.

    DEAD CRICKET IN HAY

    By on

My rabbit seemed to hate timothy so i switched over to orchard and she liked it better. However, I happened to look in her litter box one day and saw a dead fat dried up cricket!!! DO NOT PURCHASE THIS! Im going to look at a different company to purchase from. Standlee is unprofessional to sell this garbage to animals! Would like a refund from Chewy

    Hay for guinea pigs

    By on

I usually feed our guinea pigs timothy grass but my son has seasonal allergies and we wanted to see if taking the timothy hay out of the house would help him. It seems it has, the pigs are ok with the switch but I do think they are eating a bit less of this than they did when they had a pile of timothy. This grass has a mild sweet smell and long thin strands

    Very harsh blades of grass

    By on

My hairless pigs will not eat this grass. The blades of grass are very sharp and dry. They use the grass to sleep in ans eat the timothy hay(second cut).

    Stiff and Hard Grass Hay

    By on

This is not a good quality hay at least not for adorable Guinea Pig's. My Guineas hates it and refuses to eat it. It is a bad Quality hay that I lost money on so I guess I will not be reordering it anymore. I even tried mixing it with the high quality Orchard Grass Hay and they will dig through it to get to the Oxbow and leave the Standlee Grass Hay. I sat by there cage for hours just to watch them and saw this. When I put the hay by itself alone it never got touched. Sorry I was really hoping that this was a great buy but no.

Guinea pigs love it and so do I

    By on

My piggies love it! They start zooming and pop corning when I'm refilling the hay racks. I love it to because they eat 90% of it unlike Timothy hay, they would pull most of it onto the ground to get they're favorite parts and I'd wind up throwing most of it away. It is a bit dusty, because it's grass, however it doesn't agitate my allergies like Timothy hay.

    good quality, nicely packaged.

    By on

good quality hay, no dust , nicely packaged with a black bag inside. It may take few days for Guinea Pigs to get used to this hay from Timothy but less allergic to humans and equally nutritious for gp.

    5 boistrous Guinea Pigs

    By on

Our five male Guinea Pigs won't eat this. We have tried it for weeks. They kick it around and give us a dirty look when we give it to them. We tried mixing it with another brand and they pick out the other brand and leave the Standlee.
