Garden Use

Great for my garden! Small shredded pieces, seems to be free of seeds. Makes great organic garden mulch!

Dusty Hay

I buy Standlee products all the time and will continue to. However this hay bale is so dusty. Not good for my horse with lung issues.

More than what it looks like.

I give this to my goat she loves it. There is so much wore hay than what it looks like.

Quality of the alfalfa

I found this bale of alfalfa high in quality and a bit high in price. But, Walker needed some pure alfalfa to help him recover from illness and it did the job.

My horse loves this alfalfa hay and it’s a great preventive tactic for irritation from stomach acid. I wish it were less dusty but other than that, it’s a great product. The fact that Chewy delivers it to my doorstep means I’ll be ordering again. So convenient.

Poor quality

Forage was extremely dusty, had pepples mixed in and overly mature forage. Mostly mature stems and dried chaf. Do not recommend for horses.
