How long does the antistatic last on cat fur? How often does it need to be applied in a very static and dry environment?

Do you have to rinse out this spray or just leave on ? This would be for my cat and need to know if safe when he licks his fur ? Please advise. Thank you.

This spray is meant to be left in and dried as it is best effective when drying.

Spray conditioner sure is handy. My longish-hair dogs enjoy the relief of the leave-in conditioner after shampooing. Also, daily brushings are easier when the conditioner is diluted with water in a special sprayer; lightly spray then brush for less pup resistance. Works for us.

I wanted something to demat my cat's coat-the customer service rep suggested this-I haven't used it because I have to bathe the cat first and he is 16 and badly arthrtic, besides-if you get the mats wet they are even harder to remove so I haven't used the product at all for this reason. I gave 3 stars because it is a detangler and I would use it under different circumstances.
