About Stella and Chewy’s
In 1997, Marie Moody adopted a dog named Stella from a local animal shelter. She soon decided that Stella needed a companion and adopted a sick pup named Chewy, who joined the family and helped forge the company’s history. On the advice of a veterinarian, Marie began feeding Chewy a raw diet to help with his health issues. He quickly recovered, and both he and Stella thrived on their new food. The experience led Marie to pursue her passion for pet nutrition and start her own business—Stella & Chewy’s.

Freeze dried rabbit saved this cat
Our adopted cat came to us with severe IBD, with constant diarrhea and vomiting. After just a few weeks of a diet limited to rabbit as his novel protein, the diarrhea stopped and the vomited was reduced to occasionally when he got stressed. His fur is healthy & glossy and his weight is perfect, and he loves this food. This product is a great way to offer the benefits of raw feeding without the hassle, at a similar cost. Just make sure to rehydrate the pellets before serving. THEY SHOULD NEVER BE SERVED DRY unless as a treat. Cats are desert animals and need to get part of their hydration from their food. Serving these pellets dry will contribute to kidney disease and other health issues in the future.
All 8 of my cats LOVE Stella and Chewy’s
I have 8 cats, ranging from 2yrs old to 21yrs old, and everyone of them loves these freeze dried nuggets. We have tried every flavor aside from Rabbit and they can’t get enough. I mix it in with their wet food but they will eat it straight from my hand also. I highly recommend giving it a shot compared to other freeze dried brands.
Kitten loves it
I wanted a way she would get water and healthy food at the same time. I'm trying to steer away from canned foods as my last cat had Hyperthyronism and even though they aren't sure what causes it, one thing repeatedly said was it could be due to canned cat food.
Good price, healthy, & yummy!
I have been spending SO much money on fancy protein-packed food for my 3 kitties because I was tired of them throwing up and getting food allergies. I have an 11yr orange tabby, 6yr old Japanese bobtail, and 2yr old Bombay. The tiny 6yr old is the pickiest. I switched from Smalls to these dinner morsels to save money and all 3 cats love it! They eat it crushed up and dry and they’re always so excited to eat. They also haven’t thrown up once and no food allergies.

I call this kitty crack. All of my cats go crazy over it. Unfortunately, it is too expensive to use as an everyday food, so I use it for treats.
Great product
I have a very picky skinny cat. He vomits the dry food. I have tried so may canned foods and he will not eat it. I bought the freeze dried chicken and he loves it. He won't eat it wet so I feed it to him dry 5-6 pieces at a time 4 x a day. He holds it down. I know he will want to drink water shortly after and of course he cannot drink out of the cat water fountain I bought. He goes into the bathroom and cries. I go in and turn on the water so it is dripping and he drinks. Yes he is spoiled, but my baby is also deaf so I really do spoil him. He absolutely loves this product. I finally found something he will eat an keep it down. I am hoping he will start to put on weight!
Mr Buddy
Mr Buddy had dental work done so he needed soft kibble. This works great I just let it sit in hot water until it’s soft. Works great and I purchased two different flavors which he enjoyed. Thank you

Was a bit hesitant to try this due to the high price and some reviews noting product inconsistencies, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance! I use this as a topper with breakfast and dinner, rehydrating a few pellets as appropriate for my cats’ body weight mixed in with their wet food. One of my girls is pickier than her sister but to my surprise, both loved this stuff immediately. It seems to be very appetizing to them and even tempts my picky girl to eat her less-favored wet food varieties offered. So far we have only tried the chicken recipe, but in the future I would be interested in experimenting with the other recipes. After receiving a few autoship orders containing multiple bags of this item, over the course of a few months, I have not noticed any notable changes or problems in consistency or composition as I have seen other reviews mention. It usually takes a minute or two for the pellets to rehydrate enough for me to mush them with a spoon, or at least break them down into bite sized pieces. I am very happy with this product, the ingredients are high quality, and I love how there are extra supplements and probiotics added into the pellets. All in all, yes it is very pricey, but the ingredients are great, and the food is highly palatable to my cats.

It's a must in my house
Lil Gris is obsessed with this. I have to give him a small bowl everyday or he wrecks havoc. It keeps his coat nice and keeps him pretty healthy too
