I’m sure that this is a great dog food however it’s got so much protein in it that my dog can’t eat it, but it smells better than most kibble. However, the protein

I’m sure that this is a great dog food however it’s got so much protein in it that my dog can’t eat it, but it smells better than most kibble. However, the protein is too strong for kingpin and it messes with his intestines and stomach problems so I do not recommend this dog food if your dog has digestive problems.

In the first 3 ingredients it is chicken meal, or beef meal. That is why the ingredients aren't listed on Chewy. I owned a pet store for several years and went to a lot of dog food shows. I would never knowingly buy any dog food with meal in it. My dog's feces are larger and the gas smell from my dachshund is horrible. He has never had gas. I figured that because this food claims to be superior and the price is higher than most it would be good. Stella and chewy is no better than Purina or Iams but the cost is much higher.

My dogs are obsessed with the stella and chewy toppers, dinner dust and broth. We had to feed a different protein kibble for awhile due to allergies so we weren't able to try S&C until recently. The kibble size is on the smaller size but not too small. Smell wasn't off putting like some dry foods. Did a quick taste test for the picky eaters. They ate it right up, especially since they love beef. It took a couple days to transition to the new food but it smooth sailing and no upset bellies. Would recommend stella and chewy.

Nice size kibble, and because i have been feeding him freeze dried surf and turf/absolutely rabbit patties all of his adult life, the coated kibble was easy to incorporate

Nice size kibble, and because i have been feeding him freeze dried surf and turf/absolutely rabbit patties all of his adult life, the coated kibble was easy to incorporate into his diet. I personally associate your product with consistent and top tier quality. i try to vary the freeze dried patties and it would be great to try other options of this kibble. i think he would have liked any of the different flavor options. and i think it is great to change it up for him - each bag. in his life he has had all different flavors of your products- except turkey and lamb. i like the size of the kibble. it would be good to know what you would suggest (quantity per serving) to go along in conjunction with your freeze dried puck patties. Also recommendation by age of animal. i contribute his great health (bichon who just turned 12) to a lifetime diet of your freeze dried patties! He is a speed eater, so i do feed it in a puzzle feeder to slow him down. great job stella and chewy!

My senior dog loved the taste but it certainly did not agree with her gastro issues. We need to be very careful when introducing new foods or we are up all night with her. This one she loved the taste, ate it all BUT, we were dealing with the consequences. Senior dogs can have a limited range of tolerance so don't worry if the food doesn't love them. I passed it along to a friend whose dog DOES NOT have stomach issues and they loved it. No issues. Bag was easy to open and close, she loved the taste but alas, it didn't like her.

My dog Lennon LOVES this food. He typically snacks on his food all day long. He will grab a mouthful and walk into living room and chew up the few pieces of kibble and go back every so often and repeat the process . With this food he stands over his dish like a vacuum cleaner. He will not leave until every piece is gone. WOW! I have tried many foods and this one is by far his favorite.
