ingredient quality, allergy/sensitive friendly

i love the ingredients and appreciate the needs for being legume free. the taste is amazing and no GI upset so far transitioning. only losing a star because the

i love the ingredients and appreciate the needs for being legume free. the taste is amazing and no GI upset so far transitioning. only losing a star because the kibble is TINY. like, cat food tiny. so for my 85lb chocolate lab, it’s a must to put it in a slow feeder. I understand the need to make it universal but would appreciate an ever so slightly bigger kibble pieces. won’t deter me from buying again though.

Did not agree with my dog

We did a lengthy transition to the new food but by the 2nd week he started spitting up during the day after breakfast. When he got to full time new food he was getting

When he got to full time new food he was getting up during the night 2-3 times to go outside. 3rd day of full time new food he wouldn’t eat at all. Bad news! I went to the pet store and got his old food and he ate it all up and that night no problems with going out. He slept through the night. I was hoping it would be good for him but, No!

Allergy Dog LOVES this: Gelatin is pork

My dog is allergic to wheat and any animal with horns and feathers (no lamb, venison, chicken, turkey, beef). He also is not a huge fan of other fish based foods

My dog is allergic to wheat and any animal with horns and feathers (no lamb, venison, chicken, turkey, beef). He also is not a huge fan of other fish based foods we have tried. He gobbled this up. I did reach out to Stella and Chewy about the gelatin in the kibble, letting them know it was a food allergy issue and they replied in less than 12 hours that it is pork based gelatin, with no plan to use beef gelatin. I love the high omega count for his allergy related skin issues and this grain free option does not have pulses or legumes. So far no gas or GI issues. Fingers crossed this recipe stays exactly the same and this can be our pups food.
