heavy chemical smell

i have bought this 3 times and was very happy with it. last bucket had a heavy chemical smell to it. freeze dried chicken isnt supposed to smell at all. serious

Dogs Enjoyed Them

My dogs enjoyed them but they’re rather fragile. If you put them in a bag or pocket to use on a walk they pretty much disintegrate into just slivers or dust.

Buyers Beware

This is the first time I ordered the freeze dried chicken breast treats from this company. When I first open the tub, I noticed a strange chemical smell. I was concerned,

This is the first time I ordered the freeze dried chicken breast treats from this company. When I first open the tub, I noticed a strange chemical smell. I was concerned, but my dogs seemed to enjoy it. Later in the night, all three of them were throwing up and sick. I thought maybe it was something else so a few days later, I gave them the treats again, only two pieces for each dog, and all three of them were sick once again. They only get the best food, and never any table scraps, so nothing else in their diet had changed. Please trust yourself if something feels off, I wish I would’ve listened to my first original reaction to the smell, and never fed them these treats.

I am unhappy with this company. For years I have made monthly purchases of multiple tubs of their beef liver single ingredient freeze dried treats. This was my first purchase of their Chicken Breast Treats and will be my last purchase of anything from this company. The beef liver tubs are full nearly to the top. The chicken breast tubs are filled a bit over 1/2 way. I figured there was an error. I contacted the company directly and was informed there was no error, their products are sold by weight, and all are placed in the same size tub. The product weight is stated in the description. My response to them was I considered this to be deceptive and it was unacceptable. If I could not trust them to be transparent in their advertising of their product I could not and would not trust them in their manufacturing process.

Our dog leaves his food sit in his bowl unless I add something from our table; just a teaspoon is all that’s needed. However, we found that if we add pieces of freeze dried do treats or even the powdery crumbs, he eats every bit of his food. Because these treats are pure protein, we don’t worry about our boy gaining weight.
