can these hides be used as a moist hide?

This item can be used as a moist hide. Feel free to add moss, cloth, or any other favorite substrate to hold moisture.

Supports Limited Weight

My adult crested gecko went into it and the hide immediately fell down. The magnets are weak and their placement fails to support the total weight of the hide. I do not recommend using unless this is for a very small creature.

Favorite hide

It took a couple weeks for my crested gecko to show any interest in this hide. Eventually he started laying on top of it. Then he finally ventured inside. This is where I find him most days now. It’s definitely his favorite hide.

Weak magnets

Cannot support 75 g of weight - typical for an adult crested gecko. Falls down almost immediately. Exoterra tank for reference

Doesn't work

This hide is horrible!!! If I could have given negative stars I would have.. Placed it in my habitat and it slide down and did not stay in place... what good is a magnetic hide that is supposed to be off the ground.. and it just keeps sliding to the ground..I do not recommend this product and will not waste my money on any other products from the company this was made by....

My Crested Geckos love them!

Product is great quality and the magnets are perfect for making sure they hold tight! I purchased 2 of these (small and large) and my Geckos absolutely love sleeping in them. Shipping is always great with Chewy! Would highly recommend.

The magnets are not very strong

I went with the adult size gecko loft to support a heavier bodied adult sized gecko. The magnets sticking it to the glass do not support a lot of weight. I ended up using stronger magnets off my fridge to make a stronger connection... but it still doesn't have as good of a connection as better quality ledges

Crested Gecko loves this

It stays put on glass, kinda works on pvc but needs a brace. My gecko will not leave this thing all day. It’s his favorite hide and he barely fits. It’s surprising and strange. These people know geckos.

Does not stick

The magnetic feature on these does not work at all! I shoukd have gotten the suction cups.
