Not for a neuter as it does not cover the testicle site. Seek an inflatable collar or cone for this.

We'd recommend supervision the first couple of times wearing the suit to see if your cat will be comfortable if left alone.

Because of the specially tailored opening at the back, for the majority of cats, you can leave the Recovery Suit fully closed while the cat is using the litter box. We recommend to check the opening at the back from time to time while wearing the Recovery Suit.

I rescued two little orange tabbys and spay them immediately upon rescue. They came home wearing tiny cones of shame. Even though the cones were tiny they were about a half an inch too long for the girls to put the cone around their food bowls to eat. These girls had also been living outside all their lives and were likely already traumatized by the sudden change in their lives. These little recovery suits were a miracle solution. The girls healed beautifully and no muss no fuss. In my case, they worked for my two sweeties - perfectly.

I liked the suit but Blaze DID NOT.

The material was soft and construction was of good quality. It was easy to put on. I put it on Blaze a week before her scheduled surgery to get her used to it

The material was soft and construction was of good quality. It was easy to put on. I put it on Blaze a week before her scheduled surgery to get her used to it. She was far from happy. Initially she fell over sideways as if her back end and haunches were paralyzed. Then she zoomed around the house trying to leave it behind and slammed into furniture and walls because she wasn't using her backside effectively. After I calmed her down a bit, I attempted to take the suit off her and she scratched and tried to bite me, hissed and was generally overly aggressive. A first time ever behavior from her. Of course 10 minutes after she was out of the suit she was her normal sweet and affectionate self. I'll be relying on the traditional collar for the recovery period after her surgery.

Used for our baby girl after spaying. Seemed like a better alternative to the dreadful cone. She took to it quite well, but she did scratch and chew at it at the site of incision. She definitely put some holes into it but the lining inside held up through the time of healing. She looked super cute in it and it did the job. Overall, it did the job and kept her comfortable. Definitely recommend!

HattieMay just got spayed and she’s odd sized at 5.2 lbs and only 3 and half months. She’s very long but skinny. The e collar was a very awkward fit and the homemade surgical suit that one of the vet techs makes for kittens who are still pretty small was not a good fit either. So I ordered this one in an xxx small. This covers her belly and does not gap at the thigh which prevents her from chewing and licking.

This surgical suit was quite helpful when my cat needed had bladder stones removed. He liked it much more than the e-collar! He did have a few accidents, which are inevitable with any type of outfit on a male cat. I recommend having two on hand so one can be washed! A little pricy, but it gave him better movement and freedom. Chewy shipped out and received next day - super helpful in the emergency situation!
