My cat has pica and loves to eat fabric. The knots on these toys are tight and it takes a while for him to chew on this enough to loosen the rope. This is for the cat owners that actually chew on toys. None of that dainty, choking hazard nonsense that most cat toys have. My pica cat does great with these. We call the giraffe his “Corncob” since he chews on it like it’s corn.

My little guy only weighs about 5 pounds. However, he is a VERY aggressive chewer which is the reason I ordered these. Within less than one hour, he had the first toy’s face shredded and in tatters. I thought these were supposed to be made to last. But we are already having to ditch the fist one because the strings are all loose and he is starting to eat those.

I thought these rope-twisted toys would be perfect for my 8 & 11-month old Cavaliers, however they chewed them to bits in under 3 hrs. They're braided & once the unbraiding began, the Giraffe met its demise quickly. Too bad because they loved them until they fell completely apart. I took a photo from my phone but not sure how to send it to Chewy.
