does it mold in high humidity?

High humidity above 60% for a prolonged period of time will lead to mold growth. Ideally you want the humidity to go from 90% at night after you mist, to 50% at it's driest point during the day. That will prevent mold growth.

Will a hanging hide work for a leopard gecko?

This hide is not recommended for small animals such as a hamster. It is best suited for small reptiles and amphibians.

Great Hide for Crested Geko

This is our Crested Geko’s second favorite hide. He loves to sleep inside and be up high in his enclosure. I attached it to the top of his enclosure screen using a twisty tie/wire. He is full grown and he fits well. It’s very spacious. He loves it! Highly recommend. Would definitely buy this again. His other favorite hide is the Stroobies Bubble Loft. But he goes between that and this coconut every night. Definitely recommend having both.

I love this hide it's amazing it hangs easily i just used some small non-pokey floral wire and threaded it through the mesh.
